I'm a bit of a cocktail... my dad is Asian and my mum is colored(half white/half black). My hair is really long but is straight but not so straight, if you get my drift. I get a straight perm every 5-6 months. Now I want to add some color or highlights to dark brown hair. Can I perm and color on the same day??? Please help.............

you shouldn't perm and color on the same day. dries hair out alot. you'll end up with a lot of splitt ends. if you go to a professional they do have products that are milder plus they usually have tons of experience with all kinds of hair types and can give you the best advice
