Why do my bangs take forever to grow back and tips on hair growth??

i cut my hair to make bangs months ago and its not even or anything it kind of goes diagnolly from short to long on the side its cute and at the time and everything but the short part seems to not grow yet.. any ideas on hair growth you guys should i keep trimming it??

Why do my bangs take forever to grow back and tips on hair growth??

Waiting for hair to grow is frustrating! Hair typically grows 1/4-1/2 inch a month. Resist the urge to trim as that would take even longer.

In the meantime, try using headbands

in front to make it look better. Make it your "look" for a couple of months and it will pay off later. Make sure your diet is healthy and take your vitamins. Good luck! And don't worry too much, it'll grow!

Why do my bangs take forever to grow back and tips on hair growth??

what r bangs lmao

Why do my bangs take forever to grow back and tips on hair growth??

Tips for blonde hair?

I just dyed my hair blonde, medium blonde to be exact. I was wondering, how to make it look natural, should I consider highlights or lowlights, to achive a natural looking blonde. I use Revlon Color Silk Medium Blonde 74.

Tips for blonde hair?

I would of never done the entire head. That looks fake especially on a guy. You need both high and low lights to balance out what natural blond looks like. Personally I would head to a salon at this point. The nape and back need more of the low lights. The front needs to really be broken up with the highlights. Don't just alternate between colors all over yours head. Best of luck.

Tips for blonde hair?

if u just went blonde u should probally lay off the color for at least 3 weeks put in highlights not lowlights

Tips for blonde hair?

If your eyebrows are dark than you are going to have a hard time pulling off a natural look, your eyebrows with let everyone know that your a fake blonde

Tips for blonde hair?

You should wait a couple of weeks to dye your hair agian, seeing as you just did it. After then I would add both low and high lights. Most peoples natural hair has both so that would make yours look most natural. I hope this helps a bit :)

Tips for blonde hair?

GIVE UR HAIR A BREAK W/OIL TREATMENTS, A TRIM %26amp; USE SUN SCREEN, OR MOISTEN UR HAIR W/ CONDITIONERS WHEN UR IN THE SUN, THEN TO LOOK NATURAL U WILL NEED 2 GO WITH HIGH %26amp; LOW LIGHTS TO ACHIEVE DEPTH %26amp; DIMENSION

Tips for blonde hair?

Low lights, if you are going to a stylist ask for one that is a semi-permanent color...less damaging, this would help achieve a more natural effect...wait at least one week and condition with every shampoo...a deep conditioner..Never brush your hair when wet always use a large comb..Good Luck

Good advices, tips on reducing or stopping hair loss?

Good advices, tips on reducing or stopping hair loss? I am only 22 and I recently started losing a lot of hair on my head. I need some advices and tips how to reduce the hair loss or stop it. Thanks.

Good advices, tips on reducing or stopping hair loss?

Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out

http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Good advices, tips on reducing or stopping hair loss?

It may just happen no matter what you do... sorry. Have other men in your family lost their hair at a young age? It may be genetic.

Men lose the hair on their head because of increased testosterone- so you could always use that excuse :)

Not sure if this would help you (I'm female), but I got my hair looking healthier and to stop falling out so much when I just cut it short, took a good multivitamin %26amp; ate flaxseed, salmon %26amp; drank more water. Massaging my head with Jojoba oil seemed to help, and reducing stress definitely contributed. It's taken a solid year. Sometimes, though, you can't do anything to change your hormones.

Good advices, tips on reducing or stopping hair loss?

The first thing to do is look to see what you are doing to to your hair and scalp. What products are you using? Some things that you think are very innocent can contain ingredients that are harmful to you. Don't always trust that because they are "safe" to be sold, therefore they should be good for you! Not so!!

There are a lot of things that young people do which are downright wrong and bad for them. But they know everything! hahaha

The other thing is that you are at the age where hormones are doing their thing. One of the things about "being a man" and having all that testosterone running through you is that it causes your hair to fall out. Sad, but true. There is a product produced by your body which actually causes your hair to stop growing. In the normal cycle, the hair stops growing after about 4-7 years, rests a short time, and a new hair grows again in its place. However, if you have too much of the side product (androgens) from testosterone, it causes your hair follicle to rest forever.

One thing studies have shown is you need to keep your scalp very clean. Again, a good plain shampoo, without any fancy expensive ingredients -- they can add to the problem. Check your general health as well; sometimes your hair and skin is the first sign of some imbalance in your body. Good circulation is necessary, so exercise, massage, good food all play a part.

As long as you are healthy, and everything is working well, then nothing to worry about. Some men just start losing their hair about 20, and there isn't much you can do about it. It started many years ago. Enjoy who you are. I'm told that some women find bald very sexy! You may like it yet!

Good advices, tips on reducing or stopping hair loss?

Good hair growth starts with good internal health. Do you have a history of hair loss in your family? Consult with a local wholistic doctor in your area for some good advice, hope this helps.

Tips for highlighting hair?

anything to help me put highlights in my mums hair?, or what brand of bleach we should use?

Tips for highlighting hair?

Read some useful hair colouring tips on this site to help you with it

Tips for highlighting hair?

First of all what type of hair does she have? Also, what color is her hair and what color do you want the highlights to be? Once you have decided the color you have to do a strand test. Cut a piece of her hair from under her hair (base of neck) where it won't show. Mix up the hair color and put in on the piece of hair you cut. Wrap it in a piece of tinfoil and check it every 5 minutes. Once you have the color you want wash out the piece of hair. This way you know exactly how long to keep it on. I wouldn't use a bleach product because that can turn hair orange if you don't know how to use it. Pick a hair color that is the lightest blonde possible. Anything Loreal is the best brand. You can count on it. Bleaching should only be done by a professional. Just remember do your strand test. You can buy a highlighting cap separately at Walmart or Shopper's Drug Mart. You can buy a highlighting kit with the cap and everything you will need that is hair color and not bleach. Just make sure that the hair color says permanent on the box. Like I said Loreal is the best brand.

Tips on how to get great hair?

what are some good tips to get straight, healthy hair?

products, techniques, ect.

i straighten my hair everyday, i use heat protection.

what are also some good heat protection products that dont make your hair greasy?

Tips on how to get great hair?

chi silk infusion is ah-mazing!

you can get it usually at your salon... its expensive but it protects your hair really well!

also, give your hair a break from blow drying AT LEAST every other day. let your hair air dry instead.

using sunsilk shampoos and conditioners is also very helpful. they have a variety of products for whatever look youre going for....straight, more volume, curly, shinier, etc.

hope i helped!

Tips on how to get great hair?

Go to a hair salon and talk to the stylist about it. Always use a chi straitner.

Tips on how to get great hair?

Don't use a blow dryer everyday, and 10 minutes before you wash your hair put sunsilk conditioner and then wash it out right when you get in. This makes your hair silky and protects it.

Tips on how to get great hair?

once in awhile do a v05 hot oil treatment.....also use john freida shine serum after blow drying.....also when ur about done drying ur hair...use the cool air setting and go through it....i have curly hair and i dry it straight often too %26amp; these things are tried and true

Any tips to help protect my hair when I'm highlighting it at home?

I am going to put light blonde highlights in my hair tonight and my hair is already kind of damaged. I bought a product called "Hair Fixer" at Sally Hansen Beauty supply and some really good intensive conditioner to use afterwards. I was wondering if anyone knows any tips on how I can highlight my hair and cause the least possible damage? Thanks!

Any tips to help protect my hair when I'm highlighting it at home?

spray a little leave in conditioner on the bottom half of the strands you are highlighting beforehand..reason being, lower hair has been processed more and is more damaged the the newer hair on the top half..plus it will help the strands color evenly.

Any tips to help protect my hair when I'm highlighting it at home?

you should do it at a salon instead. They know what they're doing and you'll get the best possible results.

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

I have really straight hair and hate it, cant remember if i have ever had curly or wavy hair... I really want curly hair but dont want to use curling tongs etc. Any tips on how to make it curly or wavy?

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

You can't get natural curly hair with out changing your natural parents.

You can get a perm or,

You can use some curling gel or moose. You can scrunch your hair. You can braid it and then let it out when it is dry. You can twist it in knots and then let it free.

the Best yet is find a hairdo that you like for naturally straight hair and only curl it when you want a change.

I had curly hair in a straight hair world, before straightening irons and large rollers. I used an ironing board, I used Orange juice cans and dipty-do hair gel (only kind they had then. I lived in NY and I tried to fight the humidity. It was a lot of work and as lot of frustration. In the end the curls won.

Fortunately now every hair type has an attractive style that it can be worn in. How many people are trying to straighten their hair and you have straight hair. Enjoy what they wish they had. I am sure God Made you Beautiful. Just get a hair style that works with your hair.

God Bless You, ;-)

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

Get a body wave [perm] from your stylist. Perms can be relaxed for just a little shape or very curly. Done correctly they look very natural.

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

My hair is naturally wavy but a great way which has been used by models before (and me) is to wash your hair, plait it into two plaits and go to bed (leave your hair wet). When you wake up take out the plaits and put some wax hold in your hair (if you have completley straight hair naturally).

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

try a perm

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

Do you want to swop hair? I have really wavy hair and i LOVE straight hair. Don't get it done permanantly cause u might not like it. Try scrunching ure hair when it's wet or tying lots of plats when it's wet. Curling mousse helps too! Lissi's answer is good too.

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

First off....people say get perms. I wouldn't do this.

My hair was JUST like yours it seems, so I wanted a perm. Now it's poofy, gets frizzy, and it's hideous. Oh yeah it's wavy... I just WISH it was still straight. So I wouldn't recommend a perm...cause even after the curl effect goes away, the frizz and poofiness stays because perms are great damage to your hair.

So...I owuld suggest just buying mouse. Wet your WHOLE head in the morning....flip it over..towel scrunch it....then apply mouse and scrunch some more...then style.

Tips to get naturally curly hair?

Good that you have decided not to use curly tongs.According to me plaiting it tightly (ordinary or french plaits) With or without oil, before going to bed can make your hair curly or wavy.

Tips for making hair longer?

how can i make my hair longer? is there a special shampoo or techinique or something that i can try?

Tips for making hair longer?

1. Drinking 8-12 glasses of water daily.

2. Start taking B Vitamins

3. Start detoxing your body with Flax Oil

4. Eat more leafy greens and citrus fruits

5. Drink a soy protein supplement daily

6. Eat more proteins

As far as hair growth products are concerned, they can be a benefit, but be mindful also of their side effects. Traditional hair growth shampoos and conditioners have harmful chemicals and hormones. Further, even some "natural" hair growth products, have harmful sulfates, emulsifiers, and silicones in their shampoos and conditioners. If you are going to buy a hair growth products, I suggest you try Beauty 4 Ashes A Double Portion Super Hair Growth System. It is completely all-natural and comes with vitamins, scalp exercises, hair care products, and everything you need to grow faster, healthier hair. For the past year I have been using it on my clients and I seen phenomenal results. Each client's hair has grown 1-2 inches in a month. You can find it at www.discoverb4a.com. There, you can find a listing of the products ingredients.

Tips for making hair longer?

try getting hair extentions. Some last as long as 5 or 6 months. They are great while growing out your real hair. You can also take prenatal vitamins

Tips for making hair longer?

There is a technique that has proven absolutely foolproof. Everybody who has tried it has witnessed a steady increase in the length of their hair.

It's called patience.

Tips for making hair longer?

Now I might sound crazy, when I tell you this, but I know from experince! Go to walmart, in the pets department, there is horse shampoo, (comes in big bottles) You have shampoo, and conditioner. I forgot exactly what it is called, but its the only thing there, Something Mains. Now, leave it on for 5 mins, rinse, put conditioner in, than rinse, you will notice your hair growing FAST in a week!! I told 3 of my friends who wanted there hair long fast, and went from there ears to there shoulders in like a month or less!

Also, if you have shoulder length hair, if you trim the very ends of your hair, I have heard that will help your hair grow faster, if you just let it grow it seems to take forever, but that's what I did, cut the ends, and it seems to be growing alot faster.

hope this helps - good luck!

Tips for making hair longer?

this is going to sound crazy, but my mom is a firm believer that if you trim your hair on a night with a full moon, it will grow faster. give it a try, what could it hurt.

Tips for making hair longer?

wash them everyday as a religion.. n condition twice a week... it works wonders to your hair.. it did to mine.. additionally, get them trimmed regularly to get rid of split ends et al..

Tips for making hair longer?

My mom is a hair dresser and has been for over 25 years. She's been watching her clients hair for a long time. She has lots of repeat customers. She told me that some people believe in these moon phase theories. She says some people claim that when you get your hair cut when the moon is in a certain stage the hair grows faster. Other moon phases causes it to grow slower. She says she's been watching this for years, and she really sees a difference and that it's true. I'm not sure what phase the moon has to be in though. You might want to look into that.

I would get it professionally done, unless you know how to..I think its pretty hard.

I need to braid (cornrow) my 2 year old son's long hair... Any tips??

All a cornrow is, is tiny dutch braids... (dutch braids are just inside out french braids.)

There are really good informative websites on the internet if you type in "braids/how to" in your search.

BTW I do my daughters (3 years old) all the time.

I need to braid (cornrow) my 2 year old son's long hair... Any tips??

Three pieces of hair one over the other. It just takes a little practice, what better place to practice than a two year old kids head. By the time he's 13, you'll be a pro!

I need to braid (cornrow) my 2 year old son's long hair... Any tips??

since cornrows are tiny tight braids good luck cause in order for them to last and stay they need to be tight, its easier to do with wet or damp hair with hair gel.i hope your child isn't tender headed!good luck!

I need to braid (cornrow) my 2 year old son's long hair... Any tips??

If he's two, why don't you cut his hair so he will look like a boy? That will save you the trouble of braiding and stop people saying "Awww, she's so cute!"

I need to braid (cornrow) my 2 year old son's long hair... Any tips??

GET WITH DESIGNS, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL BRAIDER THAT DOES CHILDRENS HAIR, UNLESS YOU CAN DO IT. DONT CUT HIS HAIR. ALL OF MY NEPHEWS HAIR ARE LONG AND THEY HAD THEIR HAIR DONE PROFESSIONALLY.

Tips for blowing out my hair?

i have moderately thick, wavy/curly hair a couple inches below my shoulders. when i try to blow out my hair it gets really poofy and flippy. i just want it to be nice and sleek from blowing it out. I straighten my hair but it often makes it look flat and lifeless. I love how blow outs look so if anyone could give me some tips that work id really appreciate it! thanks%26lt;33

Tips for blowing out my hair?

1. when you was your hair try to wash you cold water or as cold as you can take it.

2. divide you hair in four sections. down the middle and then each section divide in two.

3. start at the bottom. from each section take a little bit of hair and start with that and work your way up. start at the root and as your hair dries keep going down. if by the time you are almost done your hair dries, wet it a little bit so it doesn't get frizzy.

this would take you about 1hr.

good luck!!

Tips for blowing out my hair?

use a boar bristle brush and tame is at you blow, as in, curl it under while you dry with your brush to keep it from flipping however it wants

Tips for blowing out my hair?

buy some products at a beauty supply store. i suggest anything from Redken. then use a big round brush and blow dry it upwards in different sections.

é–³?br>Tips for blowing out my hair?

I have struggled with this problem since birth :-) However, I have finally found a solution to the frizzy hair problem.

I also tried the "healthy hair approach" and didn't use gel, but let me tell you...It is IMPOSSIBLE to have curly hair that is not frizzy without using gel.

**I get a lot of compliments on my hair so apparently what I have been doing really works.

Here are the steps to take to get nonfrizzy curly hair:

1. ALWAYS use a conditioner...any of the Pantene conditioners work well.

2. After combing out your hair with a wide-toothed comb use hair gel (LA Looks #8 in the green bottle). After applying the gel, comb it out again. Then, dry your hair a little by scrunching it in a towel.

3. Use a difusser and blow dry your hair completely. I just turn my head downwards and let all of my hair rest in the top of the diffuser. By doing this, it gets scrunched and I can read and not have to worry about scrunching it with my hands

4. After your hair has dried, use the wide-toothed comb to kind of fluff your hair (don't comb through it after it has dried because it will become mega frizzed!)

5. Apply another coat of LA Looks gel (THIS IS ESSENTIAL) without the extra coat of gel your hair will become frizzy again :-%26gt;

Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

As I'm saving for my college education I can't afford a hairdresser or anything but I can probably spare $20 or so for some good styling products. I was hoping to get some advice.....to start with, I plan on wearing a tiara but am undecided on leaving my hair all up or half up/half down. I have brown long curly hair (it reaches to the middle of my chest) and its naturally curly so I dont have the beautiful ringlets...lol...my hair is extremely frizzy and breaking in some places because its too dry. I tried to blowdry it to add volume which added to the bad condition I have now....its extremely thick too (has always been too thick for non-puffy ponytails) and hasnt been layered or cut or anything for over a year. my face is oval/heart shaped and I dont have any distinctive features besides blue eyes and thick eyebrows...my dress is red and strapless :) anyway, tips on good products and styles?

Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

Get some Frizz-ease Serum (you can get it at WalMart). Also, figure out what you are going to do with your hair and practice styling it at least two days before the prom! DO NOT wait until the day of prom to decide what to do and try doing it!!!

After you wash and condition your hair, while it is still wet, you need to put some type of styling product in it - gel, mousse or spray. I think the Frizz-ease people have some new products, so look on the shelves when you go to the store.

Also, consider buying a magazine (any of the teen magazines right now) that have good hairstyle photos so you can get some ideas. You might also look online for "prom hairstyles" to get ideas.

Good luck and no matter what your hair does, have fun at prom! :)

(P.S. Remember to let the curls COOL before doing anything with them!)

Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

Well missy listen up. I have some hair styles real cheap-o on the budget.

For straight hair- go to Target or Walmart and get a hair relaxer. Its the one with a black model on the cover $7 bucks. And it REALLY works! My boyfriend has nappy long curly hair and we tried it on him- it worked!

ightened, seperate a section from your face (like your going to cut your bangs) rubberband that section off. Now with the rest of your hair put it up in a high PONYTAIL(cheerleader high) Then with sectioned off hair rat it out for volume. Comb it out a little and pin it back with bobby pins-pompadour style. Like Gwen Stefani's.

I"ll edit aand add more in a lil bit!

Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

i would say wear your hair half up and half down, it would probably look best with a strapless dress and usually updo's are really tight and i don't like the look of most of them, they make your head look odd shaped...and that's just about the last thing you want after having to get all those pictures taken. find some products to put the "curl" back in your curly hair (shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner to help the breaking and dryness and leave-in styling product to bring curls back to life and reduce frizz) or straighten it or straighten it and then make sprirals with a spiral curler (conair has a good one you can get for like $20) don't blow dry your hair and make sure that when you rinse out conditioner you use cold water. try using products from matrix, catwalk, redken, garnier fructis, TIGI (curls rock). make sure to practice your hairstyle a few times before the big night! good luck!

Tips for my hair???

My hair is light brown it has some blode in it scince it is summer and i dont no what to do with it, it is really wavy which is sooo uglyso i stratign it every day but i dont no what to do with it?? It is always a mess? HELP ME???

Tips for my hair???

first of all you should get a trim to take of the dead ends, since you said you flatiron your hair about everyday.then try layers to make your hair feel lighter. also use frizz free shampoos and conditioners, i prefer the Sunsilk brand. if you want your hair to be wavy you should put a gel in it after you get out of the shower. hope this helps:)

Tips for my hair???

i have the same problem. try a special shampoo. other tham that, i just deal

Tips for my hair???

if keepimg it straight is a problem, then curl it. curls r really in during summer and r easier to control than straight.

I have naturally wavy, thick hair and whenever I try to curl it, using a curling iron, it just plain never works. I've been told to straighten my hair beforehand, but that doesn't seem to do anything either.

Does anyone have any tips on how to make it curl and stay that way?

The only advice I can give you is let the curling iron get super hot, and then hold your hair in it for a loooong time. I have naturally thin, straight hair, and it's hard to style as well. For me, it takes forever to do my hair into curls.

Any tips on how to get my hair to curl and stay curly?

i scrunch my hair with curl enhancing stuff and then use a diffuser to dry it

Any tips on how to get my hair to curl and stay curly?

I do not think that it can be done.

Be happy with the way your hair is or be ready to price to have it curled again and again forever.

Any tips on how to get my hair to curl and stay curly?

get a perm i had hair like yours and then i got a perm iw was awesome

Any tips on how to get my hair to curl and stay curly?

I usually dont have much of a problem with this cuz my hair is relatively easy to curl, but these tips might help!!!

1.) strighten it first

2.) use some mousse and brush it out

3.) curl your hair using a hot curling iron and hold it for a little

longer but not too long!!!

4.) spritz on some hairspray and try not to run around so it wont fall out :)

or you could spray on a lot of hairspray then sleep in curlers if that doesn't work good, try wetting your hair with water and frizz ease, putting in curlers, steaming it (there's a special shower cap like thing that steams it for you) for about half an hour and then blow drying it before you take out the curlers.

If all fails, try getting a perm. i got one last year and it stayed in for about half a year!!!

Good Luck!!!!

Any tips on how to get my hair to curl and stay curly?

My hair never stays curly, but I finally found a product that does. I don't have it anymore, otherwise I'd tell you what it was called. But Sally's has the greatest products, and you can ask the workers there about the best products. The products there are those that stylists use in salons, so you know that they're good quality and actually work.

Any tips on how to get my hair to curl and stay curly?

I think that a perm could be the only answer for you even if you have some natural curl. But before you get the perm to make sure it is what you want you could roll all of your hair in perm rods and let it dry and this would give you an idea as to how it would look. Not exactly though but a bit of an idea. My hair was straight and stringy and would never hold a hot iron curl for more than a few hours, even roller sets tend to fall out, so I got a spiral perm and love it. I can leave it in spiral curls or blow it out a bit and just have loose waves, set it and have really sexy large curls that last all day and into the evening. If you get a perm ask around and get a stylist that will do a great job. Good luck.

Any tips on how to get my hair to curl and stay curly?

Use a small 1" curling iron (don't straighten it before hand or it won't curl because you already straightened it). you can put hairspray in beforehand and then curl it or you can curl it then pin the curl and after it's cooled take it out and use hairspray. I have really thick hair also (my stylist says I have 600 pounds ;-]) and this seems to work for me but it takes a long time. THE RESULT IS WELL WORTH IT!

Only a trim will take care of your dry ends. But I like Pantene shampoo, especially in winter so I don't get flyaways.

It sounds like you need to trim the ends off...they also sell a cholestorol (sp?) treatment at sally's beauty supply or hair salons...good luck

The tips of my hair are so dry and frizzy give me a good shampoo or homemade recipes for silky hair?

My grandmother told me to smear mayonnaise liberally into my hair, wrap my head with plastic wrap and a towel for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. It's so much better that conditioner and a lot cheaper, too.

Try it before you write it off. In my grandmother's day they didn't have condition in a bottle.

The tips of my hair are so dry and frizzy give me a good shampoo or homemade recipes for silky hair?

Trim your split ends.

Mix two tablespoons of olive oil and one tablespoon of honey. Heat it in the microwave until it's hot, but not so hot that'll burn your scalp. Pour it onto your hair, then put a shower cap on and keep the oil hot by blow drying over the shower cap. After about 15 minutes, how long depending on the extent of damage, rinse and then shampoo normally. Don't forget to use conditioner and perhaps a depe conditioner. And leave-in conditioners are good too.

Bain De Terre sells good products.

The tips of my hair are so dry and frizzy give me a good shampoo or homemade recipes for silky hair?

I colored my hair for years and it became brittle and broke easily so it wouldnt grow. An elderly aunt told me the secret to shiny soft hair and here it is

Wash and rinse it with cold water. I know it sounds terrible but you get used to it after a couple of times and in 2 weeks you will notice a big difference. My hair feels like stain its so soft and smooth and it grows so fast now I have to cut it every other month to keep it from getting too long. Let me know how this works for you

The tips of my hair are so dry and frizzy give me a good shampoo or homemade recipes for silky hair?

Mine is kinda frizzy too... but not frizzy enough where i have an afro or anything, just poofy when it rains, ect. Anyways, Hello Hydration from Herbal Essence really helped, and for a while i would use Friz-ezz by John Frida

The tips of my hair are so dry and frizzy give me a good shampoo or homemade recipes for silky hair?

To answer your question, the best way to cure dry and frizzy tips is to get a trim. However, there are kinds of shampoos and conditioners that are made for dry and frizzy hair like herbal essences, pantene, or many others that will make your hair silky. I do not know of any homemade recipes for silky hair though. I don't think that there is a way to make you hair completely frizz free.

A generous oil application and massage is recommended before washing the hair. Frequent shampooing is harmful for dry hair. Sometimes lack of nutrients can also cause dry brittle hair. Take a multivitamin and mineral supplement on a daily basis. Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

hmm the one that i like the most is when putting on lipstick put a darker shade on top and then go 1 - 2 shades lighter on the bottom and then softly rub your lips together to slighty blend them together and it makes it looks more natural

Any tips on growing hair faster?

Hey -- I just donated ten inches of my hair to Locks of Love- and it's super super short. Of course my hair will eventually grow back to its long length- but is there anything that I can do to speed up the process? I understand that there are vitamins you can use- but are they actually safe to use? Any particular shampoos that have worked for you? Thank you to everyone who answers. =]] [[=.

Any tips on growing hair faster?

In september i cut off all my hair, then i started to miss it so my moms hairstylist reccommended Hair formula 37. I used it, and within 2 months my hair had grown 4 and 1/2 inches. It works great! I still use it. Now my hair is down to my hips, and i have cut it 3 times since starting to use it. Try it, its fantastic!!

Here is the link for the formula 37 shampoo/conditioner/vitamins.

I know that Folic Acid makes both your hair and nails grow very quickly (ask any pregnant woman who's been on folic acid!). As far as it being safe or not, as long as your not overdosing on the product you should be fine.

Any tips on growing hair faster?

The right vitamins and minerals play a major role in keeping your hair healthy. Any nutritional deficiencies can lead to thinning hair or even total baldness.

If your body is in good health, you can maximize your genetic growth cycle through taking the proper blend of amino acids and B-vitamins.

It is also important to include B-6, biotin, Inositol and folic acid in the supplemental program. It has been found that certain minerals including magnesium, sulfur, silica and zinc are also very important toward maintaining healthy hair.

Since hair is protein, a diet that is too low in protein may cause some thinning in hair or a retardation in the growth cycle. The converse is true, If you eat a protein-rich diet it will often result in improved hair growth.

Any tips on growing hair faster?

i herd that if you use your finger tips and massage your head moving them in circles around you scalp for a few minutes and then gently pull clups of hair starting at the nape of your neck ...its said to stimulate your hair folicles ...you should also eat healthy make sure you have pleanty of e vitamins and essencial fatty acids ...good luck

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk wh

im not going to a salon. but i do not know how im going to go through with it. and.. what type of blonde dye to buy

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

okay. the only way to lift the brown out of your hair is to bleach it. "normal" people shouldn't bleach their hair at home more than one-two shades. so having lighter hair is a good thing for you.

get a bleaching kit, not blonde hair dye, because that isn't going to lift the color out of your hair. I don't bleach my own hair often so I'm not sure the best brands. Try going to Sally's and asking them.

if your hair has any red tones in it at all you're going to have to get some toner, also.

so go home and bleach the section that you want blonde and then deep condition it, cause bleach is harsh. ask yourself if it is as light as you want, if not bleach it again in a week (or maybe 3 days if you're impatient .. but condition it a LOT).

once it's as light as you want, you want to get rid of all the oranginess/brassiness. so tone it. and deep condition it again. keep toning until it's the pretty blonde shade you desire. and i can't stress this enough: CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION.

good luck %26lt;3

edit: however, i do recommend you seeking professional hair help. i know they're a lot more pricy than just going out and doing it yourself, but they're a lot less likely to screw up than you are.

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

get it done professionally

try an auburn color instead of blonde

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

if you want your hair to be funky and modern, dye only the bottom layer, like you were going to. i was going to dye mine red, because i heard that you could dye your hair with kool-aid. it actually worked, but it wasn't as red as i wanted it to be. =/

if you want more information on dyeing your hair with kool-aid, got tp www.grassmoon.com/gratefuldyed

good luck!

Oh my god! Please don't use boxed bleach that you can buy from Walmart or affiliated stores! You'll regret it in the morning when you wake up bald! Please seek professionals for this one!

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

I'd ask someone who knows what they're doing to do it if I were you. If you can't afford it now, wait till you can or forget it.

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

First off I wouold suggest going to a salon, reason being when it comes to something like this duotoned hair, I think a pro is yourbest bet. She or he will be able to determine if you natural is too dark, and they may need to ble ac h underneath first so the blonde will set the right way.

I actually have thought about getting the very same thing done. My mother is a colorist and stylist so I try to listen and watch but some times it can be very frustrating to understand completley.

Bottom line I think it's great that you want to experiment with your hair, just do some research like yahoo search for hair coloring tips. When it comes to darkier natural hair colors there are certain things that may need to be done in order to make sure that your color of choice is going to set right especially blondes.

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

As a pro it soundl like fun, but put a few highlights on top for balance . Please a pro can do better because you can throw away clothes but not your hair unless you want a pixie and can look good in one

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

If you have light brown i would go with light blonde underneath. I use Loreal Feria

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I'm going to start cutting my own hair to save money. Any tips to make it look ok?

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I cut my own hair and every LOVES it. Thats why I'm gonna be a hairstylist ;)

But I'm a girl so I don't have any tips for you

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

cut it with scissors

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I'd recommend getting it cut professionally into a style and then trimming it yourself every month or so.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

My tip would be: don't do it!!!

Hairdressers train for years and even after that, many of them get it wrong!

You would be far better off to find a reasonably priced salon and go in for a trim every three months or so. If you cut your own hair and don't like the results - which is entirely likely - you will end up having to pay for a cut anyway to put it right!

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

If you've never done it before, I don't think going for an all out drastic new haircut would be a good idea. Since I'm not professional, I trim the ends once in a while, but I wouldn't dare try to cut my own hair because I can't see in the back of my head. So here's my suggestion: if you have split ends, great, trim them. But if you want a new hair cut, you can either go to a cheaper hair salon (like SuperCuts, HeadCutters or Lemon Tree), or you can try to see if you can find a stylist in training. If you have a BOCES center near you, that'd be perfect. These stylists only charge half price or less and they are supervised, so there's a very minimal chance of them messing up.

Hope I helped! :)

I wouldn't advise you to hun.

It may seem easy to do the front but it'll be differcult trying to do the back and making it look alright.

Maybe if you have a friend/family member who would cut your hair for free, then you wouldn't have to worry about cost

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I cut my own hair a few years ago from medium length to a jaw length (brave!!) bob!!! I had my hair as a short layered kinda crop a few years ago and have attempted it myself - it looks AMAZING!!! Real indie-rock hair, I LOVE it!!!! The best thing is that no body believes that I cut it myself, perhaps they are hinting that Edward Scissorhands did it!!! Go into boots, buy a pair of their hair dressing/cutting scissors for about 鎷?, a pair of their layering scissors (sold as thinning scissors) about 鎷? and if you want a choopy look like me, get a funny looking razor in the same stand/section for about 鎷?. That comes to about 鎷?0, they last for years!!!!! My short layered cost 鎷?0 five years ago and now I do it for FREE!!!! I also recently bought a book about cutting your own hair, gives styling and cutting advice and comes with free scissors and clips!!

Happy snipping!

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

buy some clippers and shave it all off ,thats the only way to cut your own hair. Try it with scissors and it will be all uneven and then you will end up at the hairdressers costing you money.

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

In the light/outside my hair is a bright red / brighter burgundy. When indoors my hair is a darker tone of burgundy. I have green eyes with gold in them and i'm very pale. I have a natural pink/red tone to my face and I'm tired of the same old makeup colors. I've always used pink and honestly I'm bored with it. Right now, for regular makeup I use bare minerals but I'm looking for something new for lipstick and eyeshadow. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, seeing as how i'm tired of buying makeup that never seems to fit..

I attached a picture from outside and a picture from inside so you can see the difference..

ok, i am willing to do something for you, if you would like to go to www.youravon.com/swedge and pick and choose some products in variuos colors, i will get the samples and i can send them to you, this way you don't have to spend the money on anything until you know what you want...

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

wow, stunning the 2nd picture is just gorgeous youde look amazaing with a gold eyeshadow, it would bring out both your hair %26amp; eyes =]

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

Bright, pale, green gold.

Foundation: Avoid pink and olive tones.. Foundation bases with pink tones make your face look more pink than it naturally is and olive tones make you look sickly. Pick a neutral, biege-like foundation. A little yellow is ok, but only a little.

Blush: Pick soft pinks and warm shades of blush to give yourself a healthy glow. If you like bronzer, use it lightly.

Eyeshadow: Neutral is natural. Stick with neutral shades of eyeshadow to look casual yet polished. Light and mid-browns, champages, rich chocolates are best. Neutral and light pinks are also a good choice. For a more dramatic look, plums, greens, and blue shades.

Eyeliner: Red-brown or dark brown are best for both eyeliner and mascara, though it depends on your shade of red hair. Strawberry blondes should always stick with light browns, but darker redheads can get away with black.

Lipstick: Nude shades or vibrant ones. Pale or dark pinks and browns are always good choices, but don't be shy to go bold with a dark red or plum. Do avoid red-orange shades, like peach.

Gold! Dusting a little gold on your eyelids or cheek bones looks incredible on redheads. I think because gold is so vibrant in the sun just as red hair is, they "mesh" well together.

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

That green eyeshadow looks beautiful on you. I think you should stick with colors like golds, browns, teals, and purples (mauve). These colors would really match you eyes and hair at the same time. As for lipstick you should really keep it neutral considering your eyes, fair skin, and burgundy hair, are such a focus point.

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

You said that you were pale so I'm assuming that you're fair skinned (it's alittle hard to tell with make up on from the pictures). But with that assumption. . .. Eyeshadow: Silver (you can use Jane Eye Zing Eyeshadow in HI Ho Silver) Cheeks should be done in a pink And Lips should be like an apricot color (something almost peach but with more of a hint of red/pink in it) or a gloss that adds a little color. (My favorite is Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Cherry Bomb but they have lots of colors, even an apricot color)

My tip for everyone:

*A good way to get rid of blemishes and make them appear less red is use Vaseline on your face over night. I know it feels gross but you'll be able to tell the difference in then morning. Plus your face will be so soft!

Good Luck. If I got your skin tone wrong e-mail me at bastet_ur_goddess@yahoo.com and I'll find the colors for the skin tone you actually are.

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

There is a company that makes makeup just for redheads. It tells you what makeup colors go with the color of red that is in your hair. It is called Just for Redheads. Their web address is: http://www.justforredheads.com/ I hope it helps.

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

RED HAIR , AND DIFFERENT GREEN EYE SHADOWS(EMERALD,OLIVE, SEA GREEN) AND VARIETY EXPERIMENT WITH LEVELS OF LIGHTNESS AND DARKNESS. IF COLOR SCARIES YOU MIX IT WITH NEUTRALS BROWNS AND GOLD YOUR EYES WILL POP, BUT KEEP THE REST PRETTY NEUTRAL(LIGHT FOUNDATION, BLUSH AND LIPGLOSS,MASCRA

Makeup Tips for Red hair?

Just go ahead and experiment. If you can, borrow some eyeshadow from friends to test out different brands (hope you don't have too sensitive skin). Like I used to think green eyeshadow will never work for me, but I tried it and now I use it pretty often. Mix and match colours too, like you can try completely different colours for the top and bottom of your eyes. Sounds a little weird but it turns out pretty cool.

Any tips for a hair style??

get a thick headband and curl your hair on hotrollers and then tease your hair a bit at the crown of your head and put the head band in..its really easy and super cute! you could also do this and pull your hair up in a curly pony tail. dont make tight curls though - just loose full ones!! i love this style!

Any tips for a hair style??

Put your up in a ponytail, but don't pull your hair all the way through the holder. It will look a lot better with long hair, because it will kinda look like your hair is wrapping around itself. And keep a little bit of bangs hanging out, it'll look really cute!

Tips on growing hair super long?

Is there any way to make hair grow faster? And what's up with Biotin, I've been hearing it does great thing for hair.Does it really matter which shampoo brand you use?

Add anything helpful.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Do cut your hair, but only trim enough to get the split ends of every couple of months. People think that not cutting your hair will make it grow faster, but it will not. I tried not cutting it for 9 months and it only grew like 1 centimeter. You will get split ends and your hair will stop growing if you don't cut it. This will also help you have healthier hair. Also using a comb to go through your hair instead of a brush will make it thicker and pull out less hair. Biotin is said to tame unmanageable hair. I don't think that the shampoo brand really matters, but if you want it to grow faster then you probably want to use a shampoo that prevents split ends by healing damaged hair.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Okay, I've known this to be true... Dont CUT ur hair, and it will be long. OOooo, woa!

Tips on growing hair super long?

Take care of your hair- don't use a lot of chemicals and get your ends trimmed every few weeks.

Tips on growing hair super long?

trim the ends regularly

Tips on growing hair super long?

Cut your hair very little, like one fourth a inch every few weeks it will grow way faster. Or so people tell me.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Helps to take vitamin E. Jennifer Aniston also took prenatal vitamins; she said that helped a bunch. Mostly all you can do is not cut it. I know that sounds like, duh, but really, if you fixate on your hair, you're more prone to want to do stuff with it (trim it, change it), and it keeps your hair from getting the most length it can get.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Vitamin E is really good for hair growth. Yes it may take a while but your hair will be Strong and healthy. It's also a good idea to cut your hair every few months. This helps it grow and you can get rid of all the split ends.

Tips on growing hair super long?

There is hair and nail vitamins that will promote growth. No shampoo will help it's all about your genes how fast your hair will grow.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Apparently Ashleigh is very mature. Anyway, they say that you should at least get a trim... at least every couple of months. This way it cuts off the dead ends. I've noticed that just trimming my hair every couple of months, it has grown more than usual. If you notice your hair is breaking at all, definitely look into a strengthening shampoo as well...

Tips on growing hair super long?

use livon

Tips on growing hair super long?

It depends on what type of hair you have with course breaking hair you can use doo-grow or BB growth oil and products or olive oil products i used biotin conditioner and it completely change the course of my hair but it grew and now i have to use a straightener but its cool

Tips on growing hair super long?

The most important t hing about long hair is to trim it regulary--about half an inch every month or so. If you don't, the split ends will grow wild and it'll be a mess.

The speed of growth depends solely on genetics and nothing else..

Tips on growing hair super long?

yes there is u have to use the correct brand of shampoo

u just cant use any old thing

be my fan and ill tell what kind i use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tips on growing hair super long?

Your hair will look healthier if you cut it HOWEVER your hair grows from your roots it does not matter if you cut it or not I have had hair long enough to sit on twice.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Massage your scalp regularly. This stimulates the blood flow and hence the hair grows faster. STAY AWAY from hair growth products. Also, jojoba oil is great for your hair.

Try it!

Tips on growing hair super long?

Does Anyone Know Some Good Tips 4 Hair Growth???

My sisters hair used to break off, but she started deep conditioning it. She would cover her hair in conditioner (not forgetting the roots), then put a shower cap on for 15 minutes. Wash it out then put in a leave in conditioner. It really helps. Also, put some olive oil on your hair and get under a dryer for like 10 mnutes.. It's helped mine grow

Does Anyone Know Some Good Tips 4 Hair Growth???

Try Biotin; it's a vitamin supplement.

Does Anyone Know Some Good Tips 4 Hair Growth???

Washing, conditioning, and keeping your ends trimmed will help with growth. Also, try not to put too much heat on it; You can wrap it at night. As far as growing the hair, of course it won't grow overnight, but there a products that will help. Dr. Miracles has a stimulating growth oil that's good, and I've also heard that Wild Growth hair oil is good also, as well as Doo Gro. On last thing that would help is to give your hair a rest from styling, especially with heat. Try getting a sewn in weave or braids. Hope this 411 helps!

Does Anyone Know Some Good Tips 4 Hair Growth???

Aside from trimming it, regularly conditioning it, massaging your scalp, etc., one BIG thing you could/should do is be conscious of what you're putting on your hair/scalp. Are the products you're putting on your hair/scalp NOURISHING to your hair/scalp?

I read you said you already 'grease it'? In my opinion, that's a problem, depending on what you're using to do that. Probably 9 times out of ten, the "grease" you're using has petrolatum/mineral oil ("paraffinum liquidum") in it. This ingredient is nothing but a cheap filler (not only that, but it's a byproduct of gasoline) that provides a coating you may confuse for moisture, and it just clogs your scalp's pores. So you're not helping yourself, rather, hurting objective because you're preventing ingredients [that have the potential to promote hair growth] from being absorbed into your scalp. By the way, this goes for skin care products as well. Petrolatum/Mineral Oil (paraffinum liquidim) are no-no's if you want some TRUE results. Or else you'll just have a coating/film that you mistake for softness and moisture.

Do an ingredient check on the products you have to see if you're causing yourself some extra drama.

After that's out the way, proceed with the activities i mentioned above, making sure you give yourself a good deep conditioning every once in a while, and a protein treatment every so often as well, to strengthen weak, brittle hair.

Massage your scalp witha good oil (Like Hot Six Oil, or even your typical Extra Virgin Olive Oil) that does not have those bad ingredients and try to get a hold of some Rosemary essential oil to mix in with the oil. Rosemary stimulates hair growth.

And if you get them, you might want to lay off of chemical treatments for a while so your hair can rest/recover/rejuvenate as you learn how to take care of it all over again.

Hope that helps!!!

Suggest some cool makeup tips and hair styles for this winter....?

The trends in makeup this winter are lots of color on the eye, or a smokey eye with a nude lip. Or a very light neutral eye with a red lip. Eyeliner is out this year, instead use a small angle eye brush, get it wet then dip the tip in your eyeshadow and lightly press it along your lash line, thinner on the inside of the eye, thicker on the outside.

Hair has gone slightly more voluminous, but not 80's big, not so stick straight as before, a little messy, a little wavy. Try wrapping your wet hair around 1 inch strips of an old t-shirt, tie them in a knot to hold them, then let them dry overnight. In the morning, take them out and you'll have casual messy waves, think Jennifer Anniston when she waves her hair, it looks good on all lengths.
