Tips on hair dye?

i have blonde hair, and i was recently thinking about dying it brown/auburn ,but only semi permanent. are there any downfalls to this that i should know about? such as, the color not fulling washing out, the color turning out funny....?

The color may turn out funny, as it washes out.. I know people who have dyed their hair red, and as it's washing out, it turns orange. Not a good look for anyone. Depending on your blonde shade, the brown or auburn may turn green..
