Oh gosh, do NOT oil your hair like the 1st person suggested. Yeesh. Try Dove Intense Frizz Contril Anti-frizz cream. It does wonders for my curly, thick hair. But don't use too much- a little goes a long way! Good luck!

A hair serum while it is still really wet, like biosilk. Then apply a curling enhancer, then apply a soft curl gel. I have heavy curly thick hair also, and this gives my curls a nice springy curl and it really curls nicely without and frizz

I have the same kind of hair supper thick and curly. I get my hair thinned all the time. It works wonders for me :) They usually will only do a little bit but I tell them to get the thicker areas more until its the thickness I like. Also use Frizz Eaze hair serum. Works good!

In India they use coconut oil and it makes your hair glossy and strong and easy to brush. They slick it and wear long beautiful thick braids. You could try Aloe Vera gel, (its good for your hair too)

I also have thick very curly hair. Get lots of layers when you get it cut, layers thin it out a bit and may the curls more defined and pretty. I've used like every product out there, from professional to store brand. surprisingly the product that works the best for my is Patene Mousse. When you get out of the shower scrunch the mousse into you hair and then use a blow dryer with a defuser and keep on scrunching.

Use a good mousse and Biosilk serum and let it air dry. After it is dry shake it out a little with your fingers (be careful not to do this too much, it will make it frizzy again..... but if so just wet it a little with your fingers)

On clean dry hair, put a tiny bit of anti frizz serum in your hair and straighten it with a ceramic hair straightner ~ConAir makes a good one for about $25. The results will last wonderfully and your hair will be manageble again. Plus you'll have a sexy sleek look.

use a strightner or you could get gel. when your hair is damp put gel in it will make it less friezzy. some thimes my hair is frizzy and i use gel after i get out of the shower

You could try going to the hair salon and getting a perm or hair relaxer. That'll make it super straight and if you want you can still curl it. Or they can straighten it with flat irons.

oh my gosh...that is seriously EXACTLY like mine! my hair is pretty long now, and when i wear it down it tends to get frizzy. well, i normally wear my hair in a pony tail but i wish i could wear it down too. what you want it to get mousse. it keeps the frizz out and keeps the pretty curls. and youre gunna have to use a lot, depending on the thickness. i have VERY thick hair, and to the sounds of it so do you, so use quite a bit. and what im doing is cutting it for locks of love. ive cutten it before shorter, like right below my shoulders, and the curls end up being very nice, bouncy, healthy curls. a good suggestion to do for summer or the beginning of theschool year maybe. hope i helped!
