Give me some tips on how to foil my own hair. I only want a little bit of black on the top and sides. I have a comb with a fine point handle, foil, black dye, and gloves.
I dye my hair a lot and don't go to a professional, so please don't recommend the salon. I like doing it myself, it's a bit of a hobby. Thanks!!

All you do is seperate how much you want you chunk to be, put the dye and wrap the foil around it. Leave in for the time alloted and then check it. Wash and style as usual.

if you have pale skin dont put in too many black highlights it will really wash out your face and make you look even paler

I just wanna state that Black can not be covered by any other colour so if you absolutly hate it or you change yoru miund in teh future you will have to either bleach it out or grow it out .. black is a sticky colour . but im sure it will look great ... another suggestion if i may is getting a dark brown ???? it will be easier to lift late on and it will fade unlike a black . I dunno :) good luck
