Is possible to control hair fall with herbal& nutrition tips.otherwise i have to go for treatmen

my age is 21.iam suffering from severe hair fall from 4 yrs.my father has baldness.is there will be herediatary effect.i went to trichoanalysis test ,result was obtained as

Normal hair growth to hair fall ratio is 80:20.where as iam having this ratio as 45:55.Also i use to undergo much stress. i dont to want to take prescription from docter.Even my financial status is not favourable. please suggest home remedies or natural tips. plz sir...............

Is possible to control hair fall with herbal%26amp; nutrition tips.otherwise i have to go for treatment.?

The gene for baldness comes from your mother...so look at her father's head and you'll know what to expect.

Go for the bald look. It's much cheaper and easier than chasing remedies for losing your hair- it's a losing battle.

Is possible to control hair fall with herbal%26amp; nutrition tips.otherwise i have to go for treatment.?

If the doctor has given you a diagnosis of alopecia, there is not much that you can do about it. Usually baldness is inherited from the mother and not the father.

If that is not the case, then go to the drug store and buy hair, skin and nails vitamins. (That is one vitamin.). Also, at the health food store, you can buy wheatgrass in many different forms. You can grow your own wheatgrass, as it grows great in the house. Sprinkle it on your salads and juice it along with your other juices.

If you don't juice, this is a great time to start. Buy a juicer and use organic fruits and vegetables. You will feel better and less stressed, which should help the hair situation.

Do yoga! When doing yoga, remember that you can only do what your body will allow. Don't compare yourself to the people on TV or in the video; just do what your body allows. Yoga is never about a competition!

If you cannot remove the stressful situations or people from your life, then change your attitude about those situations. Your mind is a powerful tool. Look at what is bothering you in a different way. (I suggest downloading the movie "The Secret" at thesecret.tv for $4.95 or renting it at your local store). It is worth every penny.

Good luck! You may contact me at dogsandwoods@yahoo.com for more information on juicing recipes or anything related to this question. Please put Yahoo! answers in the subject line.

SunSilk is AMAZING. My hair is frizz prone and always poofy, and it worked miracles. I'm not kidding, you have to try it. They have different formulas, like Anti-Poof and Anti-Frizz, and it's just generally a great, affordable brand. You can't go wrong.

Recipes For Shiny Hair

To give your hair a great shine and help remove soap build up.

Blondes 閳?Add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice to your rinse water.

Brunettes and Redheads 閳?Add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your rinse water.

Stir 1 teaspoon honey into 4 cups (1 quart) warm water. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as normal.

Fruit Smoothie Hair Mask

Blend 1/2 a banana, 1/4 cantaloupe, 1/4 avocado, 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil and 1 tablespoon yogurt. For extra conditioning, squeeze in the contents of a vitamin E capsule. Leave in hair for 15 minutes.

Honey %26amp; Olive Oil Hair Mask

Mix 1/2 cup honey and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Work a small amount at a time through hair until coated. Cover hair with a shower cap; leave on 30 minutes. Shampoo well and rinse.

Dandruff Treatment

Boil 7 heaping tablespoons dried thyme in 2 cups water for 10 minutes. Strain and cool. Pour 1/2 mixture over clean, damp hair. Massage into scalp, do not rinse. Use the rest of the solution another day.

Yogurt Hair Mask

Beat 1 egg white until foamy. Add to 6 tablespoons plain natural yogurt. Apply to hair in small sections at a time. Leave in for 15 minutes. Rinse.

Egg %26amp; Olive Oil Hair Mask

Mix two whole eggs with four tablespoons of olive oil. Smooth through hair. Wrap head with plastic wrap, and leave in hair for 10 minutes. Rinse well.

The recipes below are from creativehomemaking.com

Conditioners

Mayonnaise is a great conditioner for dry hair. Depending on the length of your hair, apply approximately 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to your dry hair. Work into hair really well and then cover your hair with a plastic bag, allowing to set for about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then shampoo as usual.

In a blender or food processor, combine 2 1/2 tablespoons dried milk, 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil, and 1 egg. Apply evenly to hair and let set for at least an hour. Shampoo and style as usual.

Hair Setting Lotions

Try dissolving a teaspoon of gelatin in a cup of warm water and use this as a setting lotion before styling hair. You can use this as a liquid or chill it and use it as a gel.

Dissolve 1 teaspoon sugar in 1 cup warm water and apply to damp hair before styling.

Combine 4 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons honey in a glass jar with a lid and shake until well blended. Let mixture sit for 3 to 4 days, and shake it occasionally. Rub mixture evenly into dry hair and wrap hair in plastic wrap, letting set for at least an hour. Shampoo as usual.

Mix together 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and 1 egg. Apply to hair and let set for about an hour. Shampoo as usual.

To help a flaky scalp, warm 2 to 3 tablespoons vegetable oil in the microwave (make sure it閳ユ獨 not too hot!) and then gently apply to scalp with cotton balls. Let set for at least an hour and then shampoo as usual.

P.S Sorry that it is long.

Have fun.

Advice or tips on how to grow healthy hair after shaving it bald?

im 17 and im female. in dec. 2006 i put fusion extentions on my hair and it pulled my hair out in spots. so i am going to shave it all bald this summer. {i plan on buying a nice wig or something}

is there any websites or any advice or tips on what i should do to make my hair grow back healthy...? vitamins, shampoos and conditioners, treatments to my scalp?

Advice or tips on how to grow healthy hair after shaving it bald?

I don't know about web sites for this, but I do know what has helped my hair to grow in stronger and faster. Pick an excellent over the counter "high potency" multivitamin and spend a bit of extra money on some folic acid vitamins. Take your vitamins everyday (in doses recommended only). Eat a healthy, balanced diet, and avoid any starvation diets. Massage your scalp daily, or brush it twice a day with a baby brush for a good 15 minutes. Also, avoid blowing your new hair growth with a blow dryer or using irons or heat tools on it. In addition, buy a salon grade shampoo and conditioner to keep your scalp healthy. I like Matrix Volume Therapy, but their Hydra-therapy line is excellent as well. Good luck on your re-growth!

P.S. I forgot, try to avoid wearing wigs or hats unless absolutley necessary. They can inhibit circulation to the scalp and slow growth. They also can increase the destruction to the new "baby hairs," so only use the wigs when necessary.

Advice or tips on how to grow healthy hair after shaving it bald?

i know this sounds funny but using a prenatal pill will help,,,, but be careful tho... (im sure you know what i mean by this) also too dont wash it every day do that every other to ensure the natural oils arent getting washed out of your hair.. also too never hot wax your hair that causes more breakage and frizziness...

i have also known mane and tail shampoo to grow hair fast but it can also damage hair as well if used too often...

also if you switch between two shampoos it helps remove build up that makes hair unhealthy

also if you leave a lil conditioner in your hair after you rinse some you protect and moisturize your hair deeply...

also when your bald put baby lotion on your head to keep your scalp healthy.

and try to keep alot of moisture of your head with the wig...

hope this helps some :)

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

i want my hair to be longer when i start 6th grade

any tips

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

As many of you know, I am going to tell you the truth, as I know it, about hair. So the answer to "instant hair growth" is that there isn't any. There is no magic bullet. If you want to go from a

short Bob to long flowing locks instantly than you do have some options, but depending on a variety of factors, they may be limited. Your best bet for overnight long hair is to consider hair extensions, clip on ponytails or long wigs.

Yes, there are lots of things that can maximize the potential of your hair growing cycle but it is absolute folly to imagine that you can go to bed one night with shoulder length hair and the next day wake up with a new inch of growth.

There are some very rare exceptions, but most hair on most people is genetically programmed to grow a maximum of 6 inches a year.

Unfortunately many people are not aware of the fact that while hair can be extraordinarily resilient, once it has emerged from your scalp is has no facility for renewing itself. It is considered to be dead protein.

The average person has around 100,000 strands of hair on their head and the average rate of growth is a mere one-half of an inch per month. By the time the ends of your hair actually grow down to your shoulders, they are approximately two years old.

Think about it. Two years is a long time for hair to be subjected to the daily wear and tear of the environment, washing, drying, brushing, combing and any chemical processing. Just imagine what a piece of silk or fine fabric would look like after 2 years of constant handling.

Even if you take the best care of your hair possible, your hair still goes through a natural aging process which can also impact the growing cycle of your hair

The right vitamins and minerals play a major role in keeping your hair healthy. Any nutritional deficiencies can lead to thinning hair or even total baldness. It is a well known fact that an under active thyroid can result in frizzy or brittle hair while an overactive thyroid turn hair greasy and limp.

The bottom line to this thread is that your hair ultimately reflects the overall condition of your body. If your body is healthy and well nourished, your hair will be your shining glory.

If you are having any health problems or suffering from any nutritional deficiencies, your hair may stop growing or show damage.

If your body is in good health, you can maximize your genetic growth cycle through taking the proper blend of amino acids and B-vitamins.

It is also important to include B-6, biotin, inositol and folic acid in the supplemental program. It has been found that certain minerals including magnesium, sulfur, silica and zinc are also very important toward maintaining healthy hair.

Beta-carotene is also essential to hair growth. This is because beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A as the body needs it, helps maintain normal growth and bone development, protective sheathing around nerve fibers, as well as promoting healthy skin, hair and nails.

Beta-carotene is found in green and yellow vegetables and fruits.

Protein Is Important

Since hair is protein, a diet that is too low in protein may cause some thinning in hair or a retardation in the growth cycle. The converse is true, If you eat a protein-rich diet it will often result in improved hair growth.

Some nutritional experts suggest the dietary utilization of calves liver, brewer's yeast, wheat germ and a daily dose of two tablespoons of granulated lecithin to maximize hair growth, strength and beauty.

Other good food sources for protein include fish, eggs, beans and yogurt. Soy protein has also been found to be helpful in stimulating hair growth.

One study of the results of soy on the hair found that it not only strengthened the hair but caused it to grow. A great source of soy is tofu.

Growth Blockers

Excessive stress and some medications are conclusively known to retard hair growth. If you have a medical condition and your physician has prescribed medications it is imperative that you follow your doctor's orders regardless of the impact to your hair,

Warning: Always consult your doctor BEFORE you undertake any new type of vitamin, mineral program or herbal program of any type to make sure it does not interfere with any medical treatment you may currently be on.

However, if you are under severe stress it is helpful to reduce the stress as much as possible. Consider meditation or relaxation as a way to cut back on any major stress in your life. Your hair will love your for it.

Another secret hair helper is rest and sleep. It has been discovered that to grow faster, hair needs an adequate amount of sleep (7-9 hours are suggested).

Hair Growing Supplements

Eat right, exercise, reduce stress, rest, gets lots of sleep and your are well on your way to maximizing your hair growth potential.

You can either take a good supplement that contains the necessary vitamins and minerals or you can make up your own formula.

I have personally had some success (at least for me) with the HairTopia vitamins that are specifically designed to assist the body with the maximum hair growth building blocks.

For more details check out Jane Bullock's review of the Hairtopia Vitamins and also get the facts on what the vitamins consist of.

While eating the proper foods that contain all the necessary vitamins and minerals will help, it is a lot more difficult to guarantee that you will get all the vitamins and minerals you need from the foods you eat.

List of Supplements

In addition to making lifestyle changes, taking the following supplements every day can boost hair growth for many people:

Vitamin B-complex - 50 mg. of the major B-vitamins (including folate, biotin and inositol)

Vitamin B-6 - 50 mg. of vitamin B-6

Vitamin C with bioflavonoids - one to two grams daily

Vitamin E - 400 to 800 IU daily

Beta-Carotene - 10,000 to 15,000 IU of beta-carotene daily

One recommended daily dose of magnesium, sulfur, zinc

Silica (horsetail) - 300 mg. daily

Nettle - 250 mg. three times daily

Flaxseed oil - one tbsp daily or one tablet

Beta-Carotene - 10,000 to 15,000 IU of beta-carotene daily

Hair Growing Tips

Some hair loss experts have discovered that people have excellent hair growing results by following the Zone Diet, which is low in fat. Many other hair care experts recommend the Zone Diet as very helpful for hair care concerns.

Here are some other hair growing tips:

Eliminate or cut back on smoking, caffeine and carbonated sodas which weaken the body and block maximum hair growing potential.

Eat a healthy diet. Avoid foods that are high in sugar or fat.

Treat your hair like a piece of fine old lace. Treat it carefully avoiding any unnecessary brushing, combing or handling.

Avoid use of hot water, hot blow dryers or other hair care tools that may stress the hair.

Have a weekly scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles.

Do a series of ongoing hot oil treatments to protect the hair's shaft.

Have regular trims to eliminate split ends and allow the hair to look and feel healthier.

Get plenty of rest and sleep to allow your body to grow hair

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

umm...i dunno?eat?comb or something =o

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

Wash it and keep it clean.Cut the dead roots off so new ones will grow back.

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

well i used horse shampoo and cond! lol it sounds stupid but it does work!

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

You need to cut the end once a month. Applied Almond or Olive Oil once a week ( Not Cooking Oil)

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

the only thing i can suggest is take good care of it. dont use so much heat on it b/c it will cause it to break off. sleeping with something on your head might help too.

What are some tips that make my hair grow faster??

Dont cut it ( could trim split ends). Eat plenty of green vegetables like brocolli ( contain iron, good for hair). Drink water - people forget that it helps moisturize the hair. Apply an oil sparingly once a week like coconut oil/olive oil ( you can get hair oils from indian spice shops, leave it on a night that you are not going out and comb through hair.). Use a good shampoo and conditioner ( eg herbal essences).oh and dont use elastic bands ( cause breakages) to tie it back, use a scrunchie instead.

How to curl your hair at home.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

hot rollers work for me, and always put some sort of product in it so it will hold the curl.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

you could buy a do it at home perming kit, or get a perm professionally. or you could get heated rollers if you want a less permanent option.

curl it with curling rods.....

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

If you can put up with straight hair, it would make your life a lot easier. But if you really want curls, then just buy a curler and do it yourself. They work well.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

curlers...spray a little before then a little after

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

You could go get a body perm. Make sure you take a picture of the type of curls you want. You can try those curling irons that make long spiral curls. Since you have long hair that would take forever. If you want it as a permanent look then go get a perm. If not I can only think of hot rollers and the spiral curling iron.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

you said loose curls, most people that want loose curls are not going to like the result of any perm, body wave, etc.

here is what i would do: use a large barrel curling iron, taking the same size section as the curling iron wrap hair around it and hold it there for a few seconds. then carefully slide the curling iron out of the hair, but leave the hair in the same shape it was when it was around the iron. clip the hair toyour head and let each curl cool as you do the rest of your hair. also start at the top of your head. when your whole head has been curled, spray with hair spray and drop each curl down.

i hope you can understand that!!

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

Try getting a body wave put in your hair. All you will have to do is wash and go. That's what I do and it does wonderful. My hair is so straight but with a wave in it, it has just enough curl and body.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

use a flat iron. I know that they were made to straighten hair, but you can also use them to curl. I'm sure you have curled ribbons while wrapping presents right? well using a straightening iron to curl your hair is just like that.just clamp onto a strand of hair and pull down at an angle like you would with the scissors on a ribbon. These sort of curls look very natural, I don't know about you, but I can tell if someone used a curling iron.

or the surfer look (wash your hair with salt water, it really works! The salt is a natrual cleaner and gets rid of bacteria, so your hair will be very clean, and it wont be silky, like it would be if you washed it with shampoo, so it will be easy to styleee
