How to curl your hair at home.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

hot rollers work for me, and always put some sort of product in it so it will hold the curl.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

you could buy a do it at home perming kit, or get a perm professionally. or you could get heated rollers if you want a less permanent option.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

curl it with curling rods.....

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

If you can put up with straight hair, it would make your life a lot easier. But if you really want curls, then just buy a curler and do it yourself. They work well.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

curlers...spray a little before then a little after

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

You could go get a body perm. Make sure you take a picture of the type of curls you want. You can try those curling irons that make long spiral curls. Since you have long hair that would take forever. If you want it as a permanent look then go get a perm. If not I can only think of hot rollers and the spiral curling iron.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

you said loose curls, most people that want loose curls are not going to like the result of any perm, body wave, etc.

here is what i would do: use a large barrel curling iron, taking the same size section as the curling iron wrap hair around it and hold it there for a few seconds. then carefully slide the curling iron out of the hair, but leave the hair in the same shape it was when it was around the iron. clip the hair toyour head and let each curl cool as you do the rest of your hair. also start at the top of your head. when your whole head has been curled, spray with hair spray and drop each curl down.

i hope you can understand that!!

Try getting a body wave put in your hair. All you will have to do is wash and go. That's what I do and it does wonderful. My hair is so straight but with a wave in it, it has just enough curl and body.

I have long straight hair, any tips on how to curl hair so i can have long loose curls?

use a flat iron. I know that they were made to straighten hair, but you can also use them to curl. I'm sure you have curled ribbons while wrapping presents right? well using a straightening iron to curl your hair is just like that.just clamp onto a strand of hair and pull down at an angle like you would with the scissors on a ribbon. These sort of curls look very natural, I don't know about you, but I can tell if someone used a curling iron.

Layer it and get side bangs

I need hair fasion tips avoiding extremes of styles and keeping it medium to long length. Anyone please help?

For a man? Errrm the skater/emo look? Long greasy and messy basically aha..

or the surfer look (wash your hair with salt water, it really works! The salt is a natrual cleaner and gets rid of bacteria, so your hair will be very clean, and it wont be silky, like it would be if you washed it with shampoo, so it will be easy to styleee

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

no problems here- i like guys with long hair--

IF it is clean, smells good, and is healthy!

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

wash your hair with shampoo evreyday, ask the pharmisist wich shampoo strengthens hair, use hot oil every other day and stay in the sun, if your inside all the time your hair won't grow as much as it would in the sun, the sun makes things beautiful

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

use regaine!

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

Trim your hair a 1/2 inch every 3 to 6 months. this will produce a more rapid growth. Also use as few harsh chemicals as possible. Wash your hair to keep a clean scalp and the skin will breathe better. Everything helps. Hair is protein. Feed it protein.

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

I've grown my hair long a few times and the only "secret" for getting long hair is DON'T CUT IT. Don't' even get your hair trimmed, just let it grow. It will get on your nerves at times and look awful, just put it in a pony tail if that happens (never use rubber bands they break the hair, used coated bands that you would find in a drug store). Hair will grow regardless if you get it trimmed or use any kind of shampoo. It's the breakage that makes hair look shabby. So don't use rubber bands and use a strengthening shampoo. Other than that, it just takes time.

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

The only picture I found where his hair appeared to be longer was whenever it was shoulder length in back with longer layers in the front. Judging by the growth, it looks as though his hair started growing out whenever it was all cut at the same length, probably by clippers.

If there's a picture where his hair was longer I could better judge. But if you want it the length of the pictures I found, all you have to do is start with your hair the same length and pretty soon it will grow out to be like that. If you want it longer, whenever your hair grows past your shoulders, start giving it monthly trims to even it all up and to make sure you have no split ends. If you want your hair wavy like that, just get a hair dryer with a COOL setting on it and squeeze your hair into with your finger tips (like you're pulling it out) aka scrunching, while blow drying. Heat doesn't get your hair dried any faster and definitely does a lot of damage.

**As a side note, whenever your hair starts getting to your nose, it's going to be annoying. You may have to use a gel or mousse to keep it out of your face. Don't buy ones from regular stores because they have a lot of abrasive chemicals in them, or at least, alcohol. Look for brands like: Biolage, Bedhead, Redken, etc. You can find these in salons, sometimes at Target, and a few other places. Anything else and you can email at me wicked_winter_rose@yahoo.com

Oh and regarding some of the answers, it's true trimming doesn't help with growth but if your hair breaks off then it's not going to be very lengthy. Trimming is a must, but I don't recommend you do it every month, just as needed. Deep conditioning is a must for longer hair and it's good to have a shampoo and conditioner like Bedhead's Moisture Maniac. And the vitamins for hair and nails DOES work so take advantage of that.

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

Trim any split ends. It might be a good idea to go to a

hairstylist and have him/her shape your hair every 2-3 months or so. I'm not a guy, but when I had to grow out short hair,

it looked better being trimmed up every other month or so.

The longer it is the less often you need to have it done.

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

Let it grow, eat right, and use a good shampoo.

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

olive oil

Im a guy and im trying to grow my hair longer any tips??

Hair grows from the scalp, so I don't think that an occasional trim at the ends will have any effect on hair growth. Hair grows faster on a clean scalp, so make sure to wash your hair frequently. You should wash your hair every other day (instead of every day) to prevent it from getting dry.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

idk if this is rite but do u mean like this....?

http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii20/...

if u do, i suggues getting a big curling iron.

jus put if buy the ROOTS of ur hair for about 5 seconds.

depending on ur curling iron

mist with volumizing hairspray, and clip up for more heighth

btw: u r sooo pretti!

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

both stunning!

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

ask Mary

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

You should shave your head and your eyebrows.

I think that would look interesting.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

i wish i could help

but i can't

then why am i answering your post

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

It would look cute on you with your complection and dark hair, but you seem too nice and bright to have almost a rockstar hairstyle.

your still absolutely beautiful girl ! (:

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

if you take a little hair on the top about one inch wide then clip it up and where a low side pony tail it looks really good

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

u are really pretty i like it how it is! 0_o :P

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

idk...go to a styilist and have it done then theyll tell you how to do it.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

get short layers on taop and get one of those brushes thats likea circle and metal and blow dry ur hair with that brush...bloe dry it upwards :]

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

It looks like you need angled layers that start at the eye level. Then once you have those layers, dab a bunch of mousse on your hair and blow dry, you can even tease at the roots of your hair to get really volumized. Get a teasing comb they have these at beauty supply stores, that should work!

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

i think the best thing you can do is get it layered and then use a bit of gel to poof it up.... beautiful hair by the way...... or you could always just put your bangs in a barret and poof it at the front and then curl ( a bit ) of your hair and it'll look great.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

Mousse your hair lightly, and flip it upsidedown to blowdry it. You should also consider a volumizing shampoo.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

get volumizing, mouse/spray and mousse ur hair sometimes

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

thin out your hair and make the upper part really choppy,

if you have any friends that have experience with cutting hair and are good at it, then have them do it.

oh and to get those bangs, basically just get a descent piece of you hair and cut diagonally. then get the scissors and cut little pieces of your bangs off.

then of you want the volume, get a brush and backcomb your upper hair. good luck!

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

im sorry hunny but i dunno how to make ur hair like dat pic maybe u could go to ur local hairdresser n show them dat pic n they could help u =]

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

you could stop posting those same two pics of different girls and pretending to be them.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

Your hair type determines the outcome of your cut. The first picture, the woman has a shaggy cut obtained by using a razor. You hair seems straighter and finer than hers. Her hair seems less perfectly layered than yours. I'd suggest looking at this blog, ICING, with the link. Search around for her hair blogs. She knows alot about funky cuts and styles. If not, a local trendy/ funky hair salon may have tips. Don't stick with the norm when it comes to awesome hair. And DEFINATELY don't cut it yourself. Get the people who KNOW hair to do that.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

I think all you need to get the look you want is a little more layers in the front. And for extra volume, tease your hair. Goodluck

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

hey my hair is really long and what i do to get more poof or volume is i tease my hair at the crown. (like the top, back part of your head)

to tease my hair i grab a small section, and i use a comb to comb it towards my head. do this all over the crown of your head, and it looks really messy at first, but then just smooth over the top layer with a comb. make sure you use some hairspray.

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

You might want to try "bedhed" the pomade. b/c my friend said that it worked and she has hair just like yours. She wanted more volume also. Try blow drying your hair right after you put it in, and poof it up a little...

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

it great looking now though

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

ur hair's beautiful as it is...i wouldn't suggest cutting you hair but maybe you could cut your fringe a bit shorter to make it boof up a bit...like this

http://www.askmen.com/specials/2005_top_...

or this...

http://cache.gizmodo.com/gadgets/images/...

If you want to get a way with giving it some character without cutting it, try teasing it and then using hairspray to hold it.

Or curling it....like this

http://www.lifetimetelevision.com/files/...

or this...

http://www.pageantmag.com/assets/images/...

You could also cutting it into 'long layers' This'll give it heaps more character

If you're tired of your hair, then maybe you could try streaks (maybe a few blonde ones will go well with the black)

http://www.stormdc.com/dirtfield/uploade...

That's not exactly black hair but it's close enough.

This colour would look good too (streaks)

http://www.renewhaircolours.com/images/r...

Even better that streaks are foils!...they give even more character and make ur hair even more lively

well that's all i got...hope it helps!

and btw ...you're gorgeous =)

I need tips on how to style my hair up.?

i just got my hair cut like that like 4 days ago. get really short layers that pretty much line up with the corners of your eyes. thats what i got and i straighten my hair and it poofs out like that. for the bangs you can take lots of hair from one side and move it acroos your face to the other side. (and cut it so they are bangs)

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

Put it in a tail and add some sparkle stuff to it.

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

style it curl it straiten

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

How short is it? You can play around with putting your part on different sides, putting bangs down, to the side, or back, and if it's short enough, you can spike it. Try this website... http://www.free-beauty-tips.com/shorthst...

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

I FEEL YOU ON THIS ONE!

I have the same and I have issues!

Uh...well use a defuser on your blow dryer and make it be puffy, not curly, but kinda puffy to give it form.

you can also use tons of clips.

Also, take the bangs or the front hairs and make a puff on the top you know.

And if you can...ponytails rock :)

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

I have hair just like yours. I pin up the mid section and flip the ends.

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

try doing tight curls and the barely comb them out so u have wave and if one day u want long hair add extentions remeber be creative!

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

ok, u are really lucky to have straight hair. part it to the side or do a mini half ponytail, but instead of using a hair tie, use a little clip.have fun!!!!

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

I would use a great texurizing product to give my hair moveable, pliable, amazing hold and then simply push the hair around until I love it. Casual looks are great for summer!

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

Umm go to seventeen.com

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

get some layers

I have short straight hair. Any tips or hair-do's?

i have pretty short straight hair too...most days i put moose in it and then blow dry it upside down....

if you have a volume problem, try dying or highlighting your hair if that's your style....

also, you can buy some wax hair product and spike, or section off your hair.

the more simple, the better in the summer. it always depends on how much time you're willing to spend on your hair...

I'm wearing a fabulous red dress and I need hair&make-up tips please!?

Firstly, I have mid-length layered naturally straight chocolate brown hair. I usualy wear it down in voluminous curls, or dead straight, and I would like to try an up-style for once?? Is this wise?

And I have a warm but fair complexion, which is pretty good usually. My eyes are kind of blue-green. I usually wear shimmery cocoa brown eyeshadow and lots of eyeliner.

And, finally, the dress is gorgeous. It is satin, warm red, with silver detail, and it has a corset shape which juts out at the bottom. It's quite short.

Any suggestions hair and makeup wise??

Thanks xxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm wearing a fabulous red dress and I need hair%26amp;make-up tips please!?

I think you should try a half up style with soft curls if you'd like to try something different but safe. Also, keep the make up simple. Play up your eyes like a smoky look with a nice color other than black (plums or browns would be pretty) and a neutral lip shade. Whatever you do, don't wear red lipstick with a red dress, you'll look overdone in my opinion.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

For question one:

I have had my Conair, 1/2 inch straightener for about a year now. It is getting worn, and it doesn't work especially well, so I am in the market for a new straightener. I would like to try a different one this time, and I am looking for suggestions. Please keepi in mind I would rather not get a straightener that costs over $50 dollars, and I would prefer to not spend more than $40.

And question 2:

Does anyone have any tips to help me straighten my very hard to straighter hair? Do you have a trick that makes straightening thick hair easier, or some kind of product that helps hair stay straightened longer? After spending atleast 25 minutes straightening my hair until it's nearly pin straight, I go to school, go into the bathroom, and find out that my beautiful once straight hair is now rather curly. Ugh!

Any help would be much appreciated! ^_^

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

I have thick hair too. Make sure you give the straightener time to warm up ( I let it warm up while I eat breakfast about 10-15 minutes). When straightening your hair divide it in half and do each side separately. Start from the back and work your way forward. Then do all the hair that shows most of the day again. If you want to be sure that it will stay straight longer let your hair cool and do a quick 5 minute re-straight over some of your hair.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

I live in a border city and got a great deal on an onyx "WIGO" brand flat iron. Works wonders.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

well i got my jilbere straightener at sally beauty on sale for $40 and it is great! its ceramic and porceline and works very well, as for the problem of your staight hair curling us Garnier fructuis 12 hour anti humidity hair spray as well as a straightening shapoo and conditioner and a striaghtenin cream or balm. it really does work!

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

You can get a relatively inexpensive flatiron from any Sally Beauty Supply store, remember to use it at it's hottest for the best results. As for keeping it straight and protecting it from the heat (which you ALWAYS ALWAYS must do before you apply ANY heat source to your hair) I recommend the flatiron spray from Chi, that you'll need to go to a salon for, I don't know of any generic ones... Use a leave in conditioner or a smoothing serum first on towel dried hair, section hair and pull taut with a paddle brush while blowdrying, spray each section with the Chi spray and run the flatiron through. I believe the spray is humudity resistant, which might be your problem if it springs back after flatironing.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

inexpensive: wet to straight conair.

expensive: chi. (i have had one for two yrs and love it. the best investment yet. but it is kind of pricy but worth it)

tips for straightening: flip hair over to straighten then once you think it is straight enough flip back over and straighten the front pieces some more. also try clipping sections of your hair so you can do the lower layers first.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

There are straightening shampoo and conditioner at the store just choose one that will suit your taste or try them all which one is applicable to your hair. It might give some help to straighten your hair. Use also shampoo that soften your hair. It's advisable to use separate shampoo and conditioner if your using blower or flat iron every time. It will somehow protect your hair strand.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

GO TO THE MALL GIRL! sometimes when u walk around in those little booths they have things like that, once i saw the perfect thing for you put i forgot the name brand :( im so sorry but maybe you can find it in your loval mall ( most likely i think its getting pretty popular ) and the best poart is i remembering it being under 50$!

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hair straightener and/or straightening tips?

ok, try CHI its amazing, its not that cheap its around 150 bucks but it works GREAT.

for thick hair put the outside layer of hair in a big hairclip and flat iron that first then take it out of the clip and flat iron that layer.

Tips on after I straighten my hair to keep it from becoming wavy later on when it's cold outsid

I actually have a really good hair straightener. It's a professional one. I use a product that is called got2be crazysleek or something like that, but later on my hair get's all wavy during the day if it is windy. Any tips on what to do besides buying a product or something?

Tips on after I straighten my hair to keep it from becoming wavy later on when it's cold outside?!?!?!?

i use a CHI hair straightener and i love it. (you dont even need anything and it makes your hair super straight) even when there's rough weather. i would sugguest CHI "silk serum" before u iron or if u dont have a CHI get one..

Tips for hair gel?

Is there anyway to dry hair gel up more quickly without a hair blower, and is there any gel that gives a not so obvious look that your hair has gel in it?

Tips for hair gel?

Aussie spray gel works great, as for drying any quicker the only way I know is with the blow dryer. Also try Got 2 be Glued it works well too.

Tips for hair gel?

bed head gel or aussie

Tips for hair gel?

Depends on what you are using the gel for, is it to hold hair down from puffiness? Or to hold a style? If it is to make it sleek and hold it down there are smoothing gels that arent as "crunchy".

Also there is a product from Matrix called Gelee, it is pretty light.

Anyone have any tips on dealing with MENS curly hair?

I had to specify, I see all kinds of tips for women and their curly hair, but nothing for us guys with curly hair. I have alot of curly hair, and I need to know a good shampoo and conditioner. Ive tried many and lots dry my hair out or make it feel like its been striped. Also I need tips on what to put in it, after its been washed so its still soft curly and shiny, BUT NOT GREASY. I have stuff that can make soft shiny curls but it always feels greasy I hate it.

Anyone have any tips on dealing with MENS curly hair?

CURLS are GREAT! Be glad you have them! First, start with a good style-cut. Tell the hairdresser/barber that you want to emphasize your curl but not have it be out-of-control. That usually means getting it cut long enough to curl but short enough to stay curled and styled-looking. I think that the same length (about 2") all the way around the head works well, but have the neck and around the ears trimmed neatly. Decide if you like a semi-AFRO b/c they work well with curly hair. If not, then keep it short and neat, but allow the wave and curl to go; this means a part may not work or as good as just a head full of short, styled curls. Use a little styling gel to hold it in place. That's it!

It does not matter too much about the kind of shampoo - - it's never worth the extra money for name brands. Sam's Club has a shampoo/conditioner all in one that is simple and easy. Men like simple and easy.

Anyone have any tips on dealing with MENS curly hair?

try" frizz ease" serum or spray. My husband swears by that stuff for taming hair.

School Semi ...Hair, jewelry, and make-up tips?

My school dance is in a few days. I have a dress. Just above the knee black, black belt the top is off white with some silver sparkles. High heel shiny black shoes. Mary-jane style. I need some hair, make-up and jewelry tips.

I have thick long brown hair, but i might cut it a few days before the dance.

School Semi ...Hair, jewelry, and make-up tips?

Because your outfit is dark and monotoned, try accessorizing with brighter things such as a bag, jewelry, or hair items. It's a school dance and i'm assuming semi-formal, so go with light makeup in lighter colors. If you're really into the smoky eye look, try using brown or light grey shadow instead. Use lipgloss, mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner. That sshuld probably be all you need. Beisdes, you can't really see in the dark at dances anyways.

School Semi ...Hair, jewelry, and make-up tips?

Dont cut it!

it is probly very pretty. you could go to a hair stylist tho, and have her put in layers, which would make the hair be less thick. i suggest putting it up tho, the daces at my school are really hot. y dont you straighten it to also make it less dense.

for jewlery do a contrasting color like white.

make up: go witha smoky eye. and sultry lips to make the eyes stand out. ya know the rule, only one part of the face can be prominent or it will seeem very busy.

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

My baby girl's hair is almost two inches long and a full half inch at the end is silver. It is beautiful and weird. How can this happen? Was it something I ate? Is it rare?

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

It is rare. Luckily your baby is healthy and had no signs of birth defects. Sometimes babies with birth defects have silver hair. You would have known these symptoms from APGAR and other tests though. It's genetic.

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

I'm not sure but it sounds really neat!

Wow!

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

i have never heard of that it sounds cool but it might be a sign of something

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

a lot of babies are born with long hair, it doesn't mean anything

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

its rare that its on the tips but i have had friends who have patches in their hair. It's just a birth mark kind thing!!

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

it sounds like something to do with the pigmentation but if you are worried about it you could ask your dr.

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

I notice that usually infants' hair start out as amusing/different colors or completely different from what they have when they grow older. That's cool though.

Why was my baby born with dark hair with silver tips?

It could be her birth mark. Yes it is rare but it isn't anything that you have done wrong.

Bleached hair care tips?

i bleached (highligheted) it yesterday.

i dont want it to break of a lot.

Bleached hair care tips?

just make sure your deep conditioning your hair and it won't fall out just because your black. that's not true........ but be careful bleaching is VERY damaging to your hair. just take care of it and you'll be looking good.

Bleached hair care tips?

Lol well, depends on your race if your black its gonna happen anyways that may not have been a good idea you shoulda baught some blonde weave, and yeah dont bleach your hair again for like another 6 months

Bleached hair care tips?

well what i did (by accident) was wen washing my face, i use peroxide (on purpose) and some got into my hair, and bleeched it... so putting peroxide on it will give it a bleech and wont make it fall out or break off

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

I have washed the dog bed and there is dog hair in washing machine- i will try to wipe of much of it out as i can with kitchen roll, then run a cycle. In future is there any tricks for collecting the hair in the machine with something that it will stick to whilst in the washing machine? Surely some one has some ideas...or has something been invented for this problem!

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

you can buy balls made of a type of velcro to put in with whatever you are washing and the fur/fluff sticks to the balls. They are usually available from $2 cheap shops and are advertised in books sent through the mail for gimickly things around the house.

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

What about putting the dog bed inside a larger bag, like, say, a pillow case or something like that?

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

I used to throw the dog blanket into the dryer FIRST just because it would help to get so much of the hair off - it collected on the lint screen - THEN I'd throw it in the washer.

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

DE-hair the bed before putting it in the washing machine. My Daughter has two Golden Retrievers that moult all the year round.

If you have the cash, buy a Dyson with the special pet attachment to pick up hair, strip the cover off the bed and 'suck up' the hair. It works on furniture too. Then put the cover in the washer!!!

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

You should put a couple of tennis balls into your washing. They'll pick up pet hairs, fluff and anything else that you don't want leaving in your machine. They'll simply brush out and rinse for later re-use.

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

Are U nutz? I wash the dogs bedclothes at the laundromat.

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

I have this probably when I wash my dog's bed. All I need to do is wipe out as much hair as possible with kitchen roll, then I put the machine on a rinse and drain. That seems to solve the problem for me.

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

Take it to the laudarette and let them deal with the problem! OR remove all the hairs first either with a brush or damp towel or rubber household gloves.

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

I have a single duvet for my dog's bed, which cost around 鎷?.00 from Asda. I bought a single cover from a charity shop (which is actually very nice and was only 鎷?.50). The duvet doesn't hold the hairs as they are on the outside cover. I wash the cover inside out and then turn it the right way and tumble dry, which colects the hairs.

Dog bed-dog hair-washing machine- tips please!!?

I have the same problem with my Labrador and I use the dyson turbo attachment that picks up her hair off everything, I don't know how I lived without it before

I need tips on my hair. styleing tips?

Curly hair is really in right now. A lot of people are still straightening their hair, so if you want to be different go curly. Scrunch your hair up in your hand and spray it with hair spray. It makes it a messy curly. It's hott stuff!

I need tips on my hair. styleing tips?

i think that you should straighten your hair, then take little sections of the top layer of your hair and put like smallish meduim curls in it, if not

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

My hair used to be curly, but after 2 pregnancies I noticed a differance. Its just wavy and frizzy now. No matter how much amounts of mousse or anything I use. I try and stay away from expensive products, or products with alcohol. Meaning hairspray, gel, etc...

Im trying to keep it natural. My front hair especially seems a little fried.

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

You dont even wanna know what my hair looks like. Its curly, its frizzy and its super dry. Imagine a birds nest.. thats my hair. Ive tried tons of products and finally settled for a good coconut conditioner. Anti-frizz products vary so its about trying some and seeing what you think works best for you. Some may say try this and try that. Ive tried cheap ones and expensive ones. One thing I can say is, keep it well conditioned. Try leave in conditioners. I have found they do help. Get your hair trimmed regularly as you maybe prone to split ends easy. I hope you find what you are looking for.. best of luck.

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

your very welcome.. i tried frizzease.. that made my hair like stiff straw lol.. Report It

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

try using scruntching gel.....this will help tame the frizz, and give it some more curl. You can also just buy an antifrizz jell at any store like kmart cvs, etc.

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

I would recomend using rollers when you sleep, to get the frizz out, or just electric rollers in the morning when you're getting ready for daily activities. It'll control the firzz and not harm your hair!

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

try frizz-ease its cheap and theirs different types and brands jus look for one that talk about frizz its like something oily that you put in hair but it works wonders and buy a shampoo and condition jus for frizz and try letting your hair dry naturally

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

i also have curly hair and and what i do to make it look pretty and frizz free, i use ( i think it is pantine pro v or whatever) curling mousee. you put it in when wet and scrunch your hair. it keeps it frizz and poof free!

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

there are so many types of curls. i have very dry hair. i find it very difficult to keep it from frizzing. But, I am hispanic and my hair is very thick, while the actual strands are very thin. I use hair lotion. Motions makes a good version.

I have frizzy wavy hair. I need tips on maintaining and easy styling without harming my hair.?

I have wavy frizzy hair, so a lot of the time I just gell it. I make sure I use a shampoo for hydrated hair. I usually use the herbal essence Hydration shampoo and conditioner it makes my hair softer and it helps the curl. Then I just spray on the Fructis gell spray and scrunch... and scrunch and scrunch some more!

Makeup, hair, nail etc. tips for my makeover?

I'm dying my hair light blond (it's dark dirty blond right now), and my skin is tan. what are some good makeup, nail polish etc. shades for me? and any hairstyle ideas?

Makeup, hair, nail etc. tips for my makeover?

well they have special makeup for eyecolor i would see into that and if you are tan then i would say your a fall so wear dark brown blush. then maybe a reddish lipgloss. for your nails i would paint them red. and for your hair go for beach curls

Makeup, hair, nail etc. tips for my makeover?

Since it's summer, i'd go with nude or rosey makeup tints. Since ur tan u should apply a liquid concealer to match ur skin tone and either rosy or bronze blush, one coat of black water proof mascara and fisnish it off with a rosy lipgloss. As far as nails, u can never go wrong with a french mani or since u got tan skin a deep plum would look nice. Hope this helps! =]

Makeup, hair, nail etc. tips for my makeover?

make up, keep everything really light, except the eyes, use darker tones on your eyes, but apply only a thin covering. nail polish, reds, dark pinks, and fun, quirky colors like yellow and purple. hair, long beachy waves, or short, straight and easy.

Makeup, hair, nail etc. tips for my makeover?

For your make-up, you could easily go with one of two looks. I think that you should try both out and see which one suits you better.

The first look is very light and summery, using a lot of pinks and nudes. Your lips would be a light pink, and your nails would look amazing with a french manicure if possible, but you could also just apply some pale pink polish and not do the tips. Your eyes could have a pink or maybe even a sparkly white (especially white around the tear ducts looks cool) and a mascara for volume (I wouldn't recommend the Maybelline kind; it's very clumpy and thick; difficult to use)

Another look you could do is more earthy. With your skin tone, you can pull over some really neat bronze-ish or mocha lip color and bronze eye shadow. Metallics are very in right now. You could also use lengthening mascara (again, preferably not Maybelline). You could also use a bronze or other metallic nail polish.

For your hair, I think that long, blonde waves would look really pretty. You could also cut it medium length in layers and curl it. Or grow it out straight and long and straighten it. It all depends on what you like.

I would suggest trying out both looks and deciding which you like better. I hope one of these helps your new look! Good luck!

Makeup, hair, nail etc. tips for my makeover?

Since I also have fabulous blond hair and a wonderful tan, I try to stay pretty neutral on all of my shades. For my eyes, I use a color called Blonde, that Mario tricoci makes. It's a light brown color, and I put a darker brown in my crease and use a shimmer all over my eyes. Then I use black mascara ( I use Mac's Zoom lash. Even if you have short eye lashes, this stuff can make them look like you just had professional eye lashes put on!) For my face, I use a foundation that matches my tan. For my blush, I use a dark pink shimmer. As for nails, I go with a either light pink or peach. It looks great next to tan skin. Good luck with your hair. Being a blond is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Dark brown hair and want to dye the tips pink? is bleach necessary?

if i have dark brown hair and i just want to dye the tips a bright pink color, do i HAVE to bleach the tips first or can i just apply the pink dye straight on the brown?

Dark brown hair and want to dye the tips pink? is bleach necessary?

If you just add the pink, chances are it will be very dull. If you bleach it first it will be much more intense. I highly recommend "Intense Pink Brand" which you can get at any Sallys store or local salon. All it is is pink color with the bleach already mixed in so its all a one step process. The front of my hair is pink and I've used just about everything. Manic Panic is good too but it fades quickly.*

Dark brown hair and want to dye the tips pink? is bleach necessary?

no it wont show up at all really, if you bleach first it will come out with a brilliant pink.

Dark brown hair and want to dye the tips pink? is bleach necessary?

If you want vibrant color, you NEED to bleach first.

Dark brown hair and want to dye the tips pink? is bleach necessary?

i'm pretty sure you have to bleach. It will turn out red if you dont.

what are you trying to do as professionals we have many tricks are you going lighter or darker is you hair long or short need more info to help you

Hair Coloring Tips - Ideas, Style %26amp; Advice?

Hair Color Tips:

Highlighting is a great way to add tone to monochromatic hair (jet black, pure brown).

Beware of hair colors that have green, blue, or purple undertones, like 鈥渁sh鈥? If you mix them with warm tones, your hair color will turn out green.

The levels (one to twelve) you see on hair coloring boxes are the lightness or darkness of the color. Level one is black (darkest) and level twelve is light blond. 鈥淐omplimentary colors鈥?are opposite each other on the color wheel. Blue-orange, violet-yellow, etc. If you want to neutralize unwanted highlights, choose the complementary color. For instance, red will cancel out an ash undertone, and an ashen color neutralizes any red highlights in your hair.

Be sure to check if your hair color is a 鈥減rogressive dye鈥? Progressive dyes continually add more color with each use. For instance, if you鈥檙e coloring blond hair black, your first use of a progressive hair color may not give the result you expected. However, continued use will turn your hair jet black.

Hair colors, like perms, are chemically based. If you鈥檙e pregnant, be sure to check with your doctor before coloring your hair.

Henna hair dyes are organic based hair colors that don鈥檛 mix well with chemicals.

Stay out of the pool and the ocean after coloring your hair. Neither sea salt nor chlorine mixes well with chemical hair colors.

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all

I have not highlighted my hair in a really long time, so it's definitely not because it's "growing out". I just want all my hair to be the same dark brown as most of it is. The ends are very light brown, even though I got a trim about a week ago. The ends are pretty much always lighter. Please help! Thanks. (oh and please don't tell me to dye my hair or cut all my hair off)

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all the same color

Well without dyeing your hair, or cutting the light bits out I'm not sure how you expect your hair to become a uniform colour?

The ends of your hair are lighter than the roots for the following reasons:

The ends of your hair have been exposed to the daylight for a much longer period of time than the roots and daylight slowly strips the pigment from your hair.

The ends of your hair are older, drier and more damaged than the roots, and this means the ends are more porous than the roots (cells are missing and the hair shaft is more penetrable). Porous hair is more susceptible to bleaching by daylight and by chlorine in swimming pools.

The ends of your hair are not protected from damage and dryness by the secretions (grease) from your scalp like the roots of your hair are. Also grease from your scalp can make your roots appear darker.

So you can't change the hair colour you already have without dyeing or cutting, but you can prevent your natural colour from fading in future by keeping your hair well protected from UV rays with a sunscreen product all year round - wear a hat or scarf in really sunny weather. You should keep your hair well moisturised and in good condition and it will be less porous and susceptible to colour fade - lay off the straighteners and the blow-drier whenever you can. Also keep you hair clean so the roots aren't greasy.

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all the same color

Unless your hair is really short, I don't believe you'll ever have one color without dying it. Your ends will naturally lighten on their own over time as your hair gets longer and gets more exposure to UV rays, etc.

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all the same color

it can be the sun and if you put heat to your ends it can do the trick, maybe get your hair highlighted and see what happens next

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all the same color

hahah..im not going to tell you to cut your hair off..but I will tell you what the problem is. If you do dye your hair you are probably only using semi perm. color because it is less damaging and it fades over time. The lightness in your hair is just from the sun even when its not out it highlights your hair..thats what it does to mine too its a pain..

also your ends must be lighter because they are thinner. my suggestion to make it less frusterating is to have ur hair dresser put semi perminate color in...if u dont want to just deal with..its no fun but yup!

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all the same color

Try looking really closely at your ends, because they might be split ends. I have dark brown hair and i have some split ends on the bottom so my tips get lighter. Theres this stuff called Profective, you put it in your hair and it helps split ends and breakage. I swear it works. My ends are getting darker cuz my split ends are going away.

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all the same color

You should consult a hair stylist for their advise because we can't help you. We will tell u what u don't want to hear. See what a stylist will tell you about the color and what u can do about it. Good Luck.

I have dark brown hair and my tips are lighter than my roots and I don't understand. I want all the same color

Its may be your genes so if your grandad or your dad or may be your mother might have dark hair or maybe you coloured it it might be the answer

Hair straigtening tips????!?

If $80 isn't too much for you to spend on the highest quality and most effective straightener in the world, then plz try the maxiglide. it is amazing!!!!! it straightens your hair perfectly and i have very course, thick, curly hair. so if it makes my hair look naturally straight, imagine what it can do to yours! i love, love, love it and i don't know what i would do if i didn't have it. that would be my worst nightmare!

Hair straigtening tips????!?

of course you could always just get a relaxer.

Hair straigtening tips????!?

Hair straigtening tips????!?

About 5 years ago I had major trouble with straightening my curly/frizzy and thick hair. The first tip I would give you is to invest money in a high quality straightener. I've had experience with several and so far my favorite is the CHI straightener. You can get them for about 100 bucks at overstock.com or even at a local beauty supply store, I even found them at JC Pennys in their salon! CHI also makes great hair serum, BioSilk is one popular one, as well as their Silk Infusion. A FEW drops after straightening helps to lock in shine and keeps the frizz away!! Too much and you'll end up with greasy hair! Straightening your hair in sections from bottom to top is probably the easiest way to get it done.

If you want a more permanent and fast way to staighten your hair I'd suggest getting it permanently straightened aka Japanese staightening. I went to a local Asian hair salon and got it done for about 200 bucks and it last for about 6 months to a year depending on your hair type. (If you go to a high-end salon they can charge you up to 500 bucks! So I'd suggest looking around first) I love it- I can jump out of the shower with my hair wet, do a quick 5 minute blow dry and I'm out the door!

Either way the decision is up to you, I found that straightening my hair for 2 hours every few days was just a waste of my time. It all depends on how often you wear your hair straight and your lifestyle. Good luck!!

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

I have dark brown hair, and have always wanted to go lighter, not bleach blond... maybe a light brown or dark blond. I'm very good at doing my own hair, I've always dyed it myself. But I don't want some huge process of major lightening and then dying to the color I want. Eventually I'll go back to brown, but it's just something I've always wanted to try. I'm considering one of those boxed dyes that lighten up to 2 shades... has anyone tried those, how'd they work?

PS. I'm not going to a salon to have it done, so please don't suggest that. I'm very capable of doing it myself. Thanks!

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

the lighteners work pretty good. you just have to leave it on a little longer than it says to, depending on how dark your hair is. I have medium brown hair and lightened it to light brown, almost blonde. Hope it works for ya;)

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

i dont know how to liten hair but i hope it looks good for you and make sure it looks hottt!

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

ive never used them. why dont you get a highlight kit? its very easy to use

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

use loreal natural match, you simply find your current hair color on the box and you can then pick ''warmer''(lighter) "cooler" darker. you of course would pick the warmer since you want to go lighter it lightens your hair a few shades, it worked for me but I went darker not lighter

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

i am not too sure where you are from but i was in a drug store here and saw a brand that is for dark brown hair... to lighten it up a few shades. i dont recall the brand though. if you dont want to go to a salon you could always try a drug store and ask there or a beauty supply store. good luck.

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

Try using lemon juice. It lightens hair and you can control it some by using heat and time.(length of time you leave it on) Since it's winter you may not get the opportunity to sit in the sun so you can use a heat lamp but don't get too close! I don't know how it will work for your hair color so you might want to try a test area that you can hide or cut off if you don't like it. It also may dry your hair if it is prone to that so plan to follow up will a hot olive oil treatment.

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

First of all, anyone with dark hair doesn't look good with lighter hair, except for Shakira.... Secondly, as someone who has used basically every type of dye, bleach, and toner they make for your hair, I highly recommend going to a salon for going lighter. There is no product that lightly bleaches your hair so unless you've got the proper certification, you won't be able to get the proper products to do what you want. If you're going with the standard out of a box process, then you basically have no control how light it will get, and will end up having to go to the store to get something else to darken it after the fact...

I did a similar thing with my hair, my mom warned me it would look like poo and come out orange, but i didn't listen, I ended up with hair the color of a school bus, and I am not exaggerating. I tried to fix it and that's when it got greenish blue, sigh.... I am glad I got out of that phase. whew...

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

i have used the boxed dyes and they do work quite well. on the backs of the boxes, they have a little chart that tels you what colour your hair will go afterwards. the chart is a comparison of your current or natural hair colour to the new hair colour, although, i don;t think they're all that accurate

may i pleas warn you however that colouring your hair can become addictive. i have coloured my hair every imaginable since i was about ten and now i have naturally greyish coloured hair. sorry for all the typing, i need to practice for a new job.

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

make a rinse of lemon juice, or else chamomile tea (you can even put lemon juice in the tea) and let it sit in your hair for a while, then wash it out. it's best to dry it in the sun depending on where you live. you might have to do it for a week or so depending on how much lighter you want to get, or maybe just 1 or 2 days. you can also add saffron or tumeric if you have any. rhubarb juice also works, and even hydrogen peroxide although you have to be careful because it dries out your hair and sometimes gets orange if you use too much.

Lightening my hair, need some tips?

Try strawberry blonde.

Hair straightening tips?

need help with the frizz!!!!!!

Hair straightening tips?

Camera Ready by Bedhead/ Tigi....spray it on before u flat iron.

Hair straightening tips?

oh well try john frieda

Hair straightening tips?

Chi!!!!! You need to get a Chi, because it locks in the moisture and it doesn't leave your hair frizzy!

Hair straightening tips?

Buy a nice straightner, and strighten in small sections. The smaller the sections, the straighter your hair will be.buy a pack of clips and use them to clip up peices of hair as you straighten.Get a product that you can leave in and will take away the frizziness.Dont put too much in though because it makes your hair very greasy.

Hair straightening tips?

first get a shampoo and conditioner that targets frizz. then get a good straitening gel. you put it in your hair when its damp. then get a good straitener. it doesn't necessarily have to be really expensive. when you straighten it, separate your hair into layers and straighten each layer at a time. then blowdry with cold to set it.

Hair straightening tips?

after washing your hair, blow dry in a downward motion while brushing it with a circular brush. follow the motion of the brush with your hair dryer.

Hair straightening tips?

get some shampoo and conditioner made for frizz, then get a straitener that can work heavy duty. Then just try straightening it. may want to try a gel or mousse too.

HAIR GROWTH Remedies %26amp; TIPS?

I have been taking hair supplements for the past 3 years and here is what I have found.

GNC makes a tablet called "Ultra Nourishair" in formulas for men and women, the pills are taken daily, 2 pills a day. They are HUGE and very hard to swallow, if you have any trouble at all with large tablets, then I wouldn't recommend these. The 2 pills also contain only 1200 micrograms total of Biotin, which is the main supplement needed for hair to grow faster and stronger. You should try to get a minimum of 2500 micrograms of Biotin daily to improve hair's rate of growth and its condition.

ProCaps labs makes a great supplement called "Hair Skin and Nails" formula, here is the link for that

http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/pages/pro...

This is in capsule form and much easier to swallow. This company, ProCaps labs is also extremely reputable and carries pure and effective products.

I took GNC's Nourishair for four months, and supplemented it with extra Biotin tablets daily due to its low Biotin content. I took 2500 micrograms extra Biotin with the GNC pills.

The Procaps hair vites have 2500 micrograms of Biotin in them, and don't really require extra Biotin be taken, but I do take an additional 2500 micrograms of Biotin for a daily total of 5000 micrograms of Biotin.

My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but all of these supplements have really made a difference.

The only way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made, any shampoos or oils or other topically applied things do nothing to change hair's structure, that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.......

HAIR GROWTH Remedies %26amp; TIPS?

First limit your use of all heat generated hair appliances. They will cause your hair to become dry, brittle, dull and break off.

Stay away from hair products that contains, Alcohol, Ammonia, they tend to dry out your hair.

Use products that PH balanced. This will give your hair moisture, which is needed in hair growth.

Use a hair dressing or hair cream that contains natural herbs and vitamins.

Message your scalp at least two times a week, using the balls of your fingers. This will help the blood circulate, which causes to stimulate the hair follicles which increases hair growth.

Don't over brush or comb your hair. This will cause your hair to stretch and snap off. Specially when it's wet.

Use brushes that contains natural boar bristles or natural bristles. Use wide tooth combs.

Do not over process your hair. This is when you add to many different chemicals to your hair.

What about half of your hair up and half down? Or just your bangs pulled back in a clip, with the rest of your hair straight or curly would be cute too. A messy loosy braid with your bangs down and a few pieces loose to frame your face would be cute.

Also... if you take a shower at night..... french braid your hair and sleep on it like that. It will be dried in the morning... and just take out the elastic and give your head a shake - instant crimp!

As for makeup - purple eyeshadow goes great with red hair. A nice light purple - something subtle and not too bright. A bit of brown eyeliner (not black) because you do not want to dramatic, a coat of mascara, and some clear gloss would be perfect for school.

Hope this helps :D

Beauty tips....... how to get lushes hair??

to achieve the hair of a lush, you would drink lots of liquor and probably sleep on it until it becomes ratty and tangled.

to get luscious hair, you use a good shampoo and conditioner.

Hair for graduation! Any ideas/tips?

i'm going to my high school graduation in a couple of weeks, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the kind of hair that would look appropriate for the occasion :P my hair is dark brown, usually kind of straight (with a slight wave) %26amp; shoulder-length. my face is slightly oval-ish (supposedly certain hairstyles look good on certain faces?). i'll be wearing a black dress. any tips on what i should do with my hair? would braids work, or curls, etc. etc. (ie. anything that doesn't require cutting or some dracastic change)

Hair for graduation! Any ideas/tips?

Just dont tie your hair up,let them loose because your just a gurl and have plenty of time to tie em up in buns...straighten them up or get those big rollers for that wavy look whatever you think will look a li'l different from your regular look and will suit you.And yes oval faces go with all the hairstyles or glasses.Any hairstyle will look good on oval face.Have Fun

Hair for graduation! Any ideas/tips?

I want to gel my hair straight up and color my dark brown hair green for my costume? Any tips on how

I'm going to stick my hair straight up and (temporarily) color it a bright color like green for my halloween costume. The only problem is that I have dark brown almost black hair. Anyone know any products I can use? Ive seen the sprays but I dont know if those will do anything. Also, any tips for sticking my hair straight up other than gel?

I want to gel my hair straight up and color my dark brown hair green for my costume? Any tips on how?

the sprays work fine on dark hair. use jello instead of gel to make ur hair stick straight up thas what the punk rockers do

I want to gel my hair straight up and color my dark brown hair green for my costume? Any tips on how?

yes... there is like green spray paint made just for hair..... and wet your hair and use some hair spray and hold your hair upside down until it is stiff

Guy hair dyeing; streaks, tips, etc?

Hey. I was just wondering what kind of dyeing would look good on a guy's hair. I mean, you can do the whole head, but what else could I do with dyes? Don't just think of blonde either, some other colours, cough green cough, too. Add pictures if you can and my hair is ear length with a part on the right for the bangs.

Guy hair dyeing; streaks, tips, etc?

although green is a magnificent color, it does not flatter hair at all, trust me i've done it.

but, depending on what color your hair is, preferably darker, you should get blonde highlights and then get some semi permanent dye and dye the highlights.

a good color would be either red or orange.

blue looks lame, and i'm not sure if you would like pink.

purple could work too.

good luck :)

Guy hair dyeing; streaks, tips, etc?

idk, cause you dont want to look gay.

Guy hair dyeing; streaks, tips, etc?

a guys hair... humm... if you are already dark headed, I'd go for blue. Its a big turn on!

Guy hair dyeing; streaks, tips, etc?

I am sorry, but most boys who get highlights are gay... and if your not gay i suggest not getting highlights! Try to sit in the sun for a while! That will bring highlights to your hair! Nautraly and less gayish!

tell her to massage her scalp when she washes it this helps stimulate the roots, try to stay away from products and heat from the hair, that will damage it...eat healty and drinks lots of water....keep the hair pure....

Ppl out there give me tips to make my hair grow before school plz!!!!!!!!! help?

ok she can get it cut professionally at the hair cuttery.when you are waiting to get your haircut, look through a hair style book (found in baskets by waiting chairs) and go through short- medium styles, there are a lot of cute ones out there! they will even it out if you ask them to and then if you still believe its too short, just forget about it, go to claires and go to their wall of headbands, buy about 10 of those, a pack of cute hairclips, and pins so even if she cant pull it up, she can still push it back a little. also ask for side swept bangs, it will help take away the attention from the shortness of her hair. if it is wavy/poofy, tell her to buy a flat iron to straighten her hair.

Ppl out there give me tips to make my hair grow before school plz!!!!!!!!! help?

tell her to go to the salon to fix it if not she should get extensions put in they will hide the butcherd ends and will add lenght

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

have just coloured my hair with a dark permanent colour and even though i put vasaline around my hair line i still have some staining. do u have any tips on what i may use to scrub it off?

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

ahh this happened to me last week and afterwards my hands and nails were stained a nasty gray color! I tried everything people told me to.. but the only one that actually worked for me was toothpaste! Yeah it works! Just scrub your hands with some paste, lather, and repeat.

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

i think my mom once told me peroxide.. or rubbing alcohol..

one of my friends tried to use bleach to do it and it took the top layer of her skin off. it was scary but now that it is in the past we laugh about it.

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

rubbing alchoal!!! works wonders for that

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

I heard/read a suggestion that Toothpaste works on skin and some other things very well.

I just told someone that colored their hair dark today and they tried it AND IT WORKED. It takes a while to rinse out though but much better then a stain.

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

so.. this obviously doesnt help now, but to PREVENT IT.. hair color removes hair color.. SOO.. if you have haircolor on yourskin, and it stains your hairline or whatever, if when you get in the shower, DO NOT WET THE HAIR.. lather up some shampoo INTO the haircolor, and mix it all together, and use the color mixed with the shampoo lathered bubbles to rub into your hairline or wherever theres color. it really really actually works, you just cant get the hair wet at all, bc that'll be a waste, the water stops the color.. but jsut start lathering up a good amount of shampoo and do your best to rub it into your hairline or wherever theres color, and it will surprisingly, mostly all be gone! the more you rub, it more will come off, I SWEAR lol

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

most beauty supply stores ie. sally have a product for that when I was in beauty school my instuctor insisted that fresh hair color while wet would remove or ciggerette ashes used as a scrub would remove good luck.

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

i used household comet cleanser, rub very gently though. and rinse well

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

Use nail polish remover on a cotton swab. I dye my hair black and it gets off black from skin right away.

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

you can also use ash.... i've seen that done in a hair dressers

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

i dont have any tips to get rid of it but i do have one to prevent it from happening again. put a bit of vasilene around the edge of your hair on your skin and that will stop the die from staining your face.

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

Hair colour stain on skin, any tips on how to remove it?

Hair styling tips for hard to manage long hair?

I have been wearing a bun or a pony tail for many years now please help i cant see myself like that anymore and i am not that old(26)

Hair styling tips for hard to manage long hair?

That sounds like me when I was younger. I now use a straightner and that always looks good. If you have frizzy hair use non-frizzing spray and that should help. Also to style use a fat headed curling iron and make big curls on the ends it looks very good!

Hair styling tips for hard to manage long hair?

Oh my goodness ............wear your hair down .....put some up......curl all or some of it .........play with it....by all means show all of us your beautiful hair!

Hair styling tips for hard to manage long hair?

You should Get a new cut, I just moved from germany and I can finally get the haircut I want. I lived on one of the military bases and their hairdressers are german and dont understand anything (judgeing how my hair turned out) The best place to get it done is a british/german haircutter, ive been to one and they are very good, you should ask for a style that doesn't require alot of maintance and something that you can just blowdry and comb.

Hair styling tips for hard to manage long hair?

A side plait will look very sheek.

Can you suggest me some tips to make my hair grow long n thick n strong.???

Perhaps you could try some volumizing hair shampoo? That's SUPPOSED to make your hair more "poofy" :D I think it's better to wash your hair everyday but that's just me. Also, you could try combing your hair with your head down; like bend over so your hair is dangling downwards and comb it because that will get the blood flow going to your head, hence more circulation. I hear combing your hair with a comb, not a brush, stimulates your scalp as well so that should be good too. Hope that helps! And everyone loses hair daily, don't worry too much about that, it will grow back! :)

Can you suggest me some tips to make my hair grow long n thick n strong.???

I'm not sure if you're male or female... if you straighten it or blow dry it often, then I advise you go easy on that.

You could think about investing in some good quality shampoo and conditioner- perhaps from a co-op or a chemist.

Your scalp getting oily is not really avoidable if it has been happening for a while because it's probably just the way you are.

It is normal to loose hair- but it sounds like you're losing it at an abnormal rate... you really should go and talk to your hair dresser or even a GP if it keeps up.

In the mean time, why don't you look up some hair care tips- They're bound to be everywhere on the web

(:

Can you suggest me some tips to make my hair grow long n thick n strong.???

Trim 1/2 inch every 3 months. my friend has super thick shiny, long hair that looks so full and healthy. She uses tresume for shampoo and conditioner. Blows her hair out with a diffuser.

Can you suggest me some tips to make my hair grow long n thick n strong.???

Dear First thing you shave your head for two to three times in one month simultaneously use any good hair oil it is good for your hairs and health.

Can you suggest me some tips to make my hair grow long n thick n strong.???

U can use shiyakkai instead of shampoo. Apply oil daily. wash once in three days.

Can you suggest me some tips to make my hair grow long n thick n strong.???

Use volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and volumizing mousse, hairspray and gel if you use it. Wash your hair more often. Thin hair looks oily faster, and if you're only washing every three days, that's NOT enough. You want to wash at least every other day, especially if it's getting oily.

Can you suggest me some tips to make my hair grow long n thick n strong.???

Try to wash your hair once everyday.

Use Shampoo/Conditioner once/twice in a week.

apply oil/spray whichever suits you

Last but not the least, consult a trichologist.

Try to shave your head once or twice, use the spray/oil recommended by the trichologist afterwards.

Don't worry too much, it only aggravates the problem.

I'm Asian and i'm looking for tips on curling my hair?

my homecoming dance is this saturday and i really want to curl my hair but my hair is naturally straight and curls don't stay in for very long. i'm looking for tips on how to keep my hair curled and also, if you're an asian female, how do you curl your hair? with a curling iron or hot rolls or what? and do you use hairspray or mousse?

I'm Asian and i'm looking for tips on curling my hair?

Personally, I have naturally curly hair. However, my best friend has hair just like yours--it doesn't hold curl well, but I still get it to curl for dances.

1- When your hair is damp, put PLENTY of mousse through it and scrunch it as best you can

2-Let it air-dry, so as not to ruin whatever small amount of natural wave you may have.

3-Divide your hair into sections. Pin up the sections you're not working with, and curl only small pieces.

4-Curl small pieces working from the bottom up. Spray with hairspray *while on the hot iron* (it makes a HUGE difference). Leave for another 10 seconds after you spray it, and then gently take off the iron

5-Seperate curls for definition, and gently put more mousse through it.

6-Put shine serum through your hair to give it a bit more of a sleek, polished look. Curly hair doesn't reflect light as well as straight hair.

Hope that helps, hopefully it's not too vague (hard to describe...)

I'm Asian and i'm looking for tips on curling my hair?

Beautiful straight black hair--one of the finest things about so many Asian women--absolutely beautiful...why do you want to modify it with curls? Part of the beauty is in how straight the hair can be. Don't curl your hair. Leave it straight.

I'm Asian and i'm looking for tips on curling my hair?

put hairspray on each your hair only each part you want to curl. use curling iron. big size curling iron for long and medium lenght hair and small size iron for short hair. i'm guessing you have a long hair coz you want to curl it.

after curling, put hairspray all over your hair to keep the style.

I'm Asian and i'm looking for tips on curling my hair?

honey, i was in da same situation as u, and yes i am azn and yes i do have dead straight hair tat doesn't budge even when i try to scrunch it or curl it, well, if u want it perfect then go to a salon lik toni and guy to get it professionally done, but if u wanna do it urself, do this: go to ulta, go get da waver from bed head (just ask for it, its purple and big, and its 50 bucks) or if u want it actually curly instead of wavy, get da 1 or 1-1/2 inch curler (also from bed head), go to wal mart or target, get da john frieda frizz ease hair spray (tat thang is a miracle) and get any type of curling mousse tat smells good. when u do it, part ur hair and do it in 2 inch sections, put hair spray on da strand of hair before u curl/wave it, and right after u curl it, put hair spray on it again. when u have done all ur hair, put a bit of mousse in it. o yea by da way, go easy on da hair spray, cuz john frieda stays, and u don't want ur hair feelin lik a rock :] good luck sweetie and god bless!

I'm Asian and i'm looking for tips on curling my hair?

Asian hair tends to be very strong but very resistent to curling because of its physiology. I would suggest that instead of trying to get spirals, why not consider waves? Waves may stay in your hair longer and are very versatile.

To get waves, you first need to prep your hair. Use a product that has lots of moisturizers and will encourage your hair to curl. In fact, I know a girl whose hair is straight and she is in this commercial:

http://hairstyles.nexxus.com/long-hairst...

Nexxus products really do work well.

Hope this helped!
