Emo make-up and hair tips???

Okay so i want to do 'emo' make-up and hair but I'm not aloud to really do anything to my hair so if anyone can tell me what i can do to make it look that way please help, also for make-up I'm not sure what to do, some funky colors would be cool but I'm not sure how much to put on,or what colors would look good with my coloring.

[ and i have curly hair obviously but I'm not aloud to change so if anyone has ideas on what to do about that, that would be great!]

Hair is a big part of the "emo" look. There are many emo-looking hair styles to choose from. Contrary to popular belief, not every emo has short, black, choppy hair (although this screams emo). Some of your abundant style choices include:

For girls - Long-ish hair, with abundant layers and even bangs, possibly chunks of bleached-blond sections and other colors, or dyed black.

A classic short bob, with or without bangs, black, dark brown, or platinum blond.

Pink/black layered hair for girls is becoming popular. The top layer is usually cut pretty short and is made to stick out, spiked in a sense. You can even tease your hair.

Boys or girls - The classic black and short hair is better worn with long side-swept fringe(bangs)that can cover one eye. It especially looks good when the back is teased up with hair gel.

Think outside the box. Emo has its roots in the punk scene, and isn't just limited to black. Hair can be dark brown, black, blond, or any color you want -- as long as the cut is expressive of a punk rock culture and has a little a-la-emo flare. Wear super girly hair barrettes, bandannas, ribbons. It's up to you!

Do not go too extreme on the makeup; you might be considered a poser.

Applying lots and lots of eyeliner is an emo thing. All over the eyelids, under the eyes a little too. This is not a good look for adults, and less eyeliner should be applied when at school or work, or where 'scene' kids won't be abundant. Avoid looking like someone punched you.

The emo look usually includes being as pale as your natural skin tone will allow, so get a whitening foundation of a super light powder. This isn't extremely important so don't go overboard with this.

Dark nail polish for girls is recommended. Black is normal but other colors such as dark green, dark purple, or even black and white stripes could work.

I'm trying to do the same thing.

but the best way would be do your make-up dark, with alot of black eyeliner, and then use different color eyeshadows like hot pink, blue, purple, green. but the hair always makes the style so you should try to get an emo cut, like some side bangs and some layers. im not sure what you can do with your hair if you cant change it though! sorry!

your hair is kinda wavy so i dunno if emo would suit you. why do you wanna ruin urself anyway? emo's not really attractive and ur too attractive to sink that low!

if you really want 2 look emo-ish then straighten ur hair and spend hours trying to get a side parting which involves putting so much hairspray on that up end up with a fringe covering half your face.

Or simply, just go to your hairdresser and ask to put layers in cos ur hair dusnt look that layered and you can always put hairspray on it to emo it up

Now i'm no emo but here are a few tips to look like one:

-Black eyeliner, black eye shadow

-Possibly black lipstick (if u dare)

-Dark clothing, possibly with a t-shirt of your favourite emo band or possibly skull and crossbones

-usually pale face (using make-up)

--Dark curly hair

ummm and straighten ur hair if ur allowed and wear bright coloured mascara

If I was you, I wouldn't change at al... Though the emo look could do with a change- I don't know anyone who's done it with red hair... oh yeah, and by the way I love your hai the way it is.

Most of us straighten the hair, then give it a side parting- those alterations are easy to undo so that's Ok- and things like that.

Your eyes are good as they are, the most important things with the emo look is that you use black eyeliner but not too much and most use blue or light green eye shadows if any at all.... I went through the faze myself, but not to such an extent.

Another tip, to be taken seriously as an emo:

EMOS NEVER ADMIT TO BEING EMO

It's fundamental, and emos hate the name. Some people think it derives from emotionnal, but it's from "emotive rock" so to get taken even more seriously as an emo, check out emotive rock bands.

umm i dont think emo is really your thing but you would definitely have to dye your hair and have more dramatic looking eye makeup.
