I could use some hair tips here!!!???

I have this very thick, somewhat curly hair. I can't do much with it except put it in pony-tails and tie it back with clips. Straightening my hair takes waaaayyyy too much time, so I cant do that. But does anybody have any ideas? I want 2 do more with my hair than just put it in ponytails. Any ideas?

You might as well play up what you have!! My hairdresser says curly hair is on it's way back. No more of just stick straight hair.!!! YEAH!!!

Try scrunching it with a little mousse or gel, let it dry part of the way naturally and then drying it with a diffuser. Keeping it layered helps with volume. After years of fighting it, I have learned to make the most of it. You can help define and separate curls with a thread or wax product. Just don't use too much. You could look like a grease monkey.

perhaps getting some tips from your hairdresser on how to make your hair more managable would be good.

Or try anti-friz serum for curly hair.

There's this thing that looks like a brush but when u brush ur hair it will cut hair in oreder to make it thiner trust me it works

Instead of straigtening, curl your hair instead. Use curl cream and mousse to define but defrizz curls and give hold. Use a bigger-sized barrel than your curl size to create waves. Don't brush, don't brush, don't brush. Use a wide-tooth comb instead to detangle and distribute hair products.

I love love love and love John Frieda's line. His Frizz-Ease and curl cream are two of the bestselling hair products. They both rock curly hair.

Well, you could french braid it, Put it in a french bun, use a banana clip instead of a pony tail. If you have a good ceramic flat iron with a conditioning spray to use before you straighten, your hair will last, stay straight, for up to 5 days. Of course, you could just go al Natal, let you hair air dry and wear if curly.

Go to your local salon and have them thin it out. It will be much more managable after a good cut.

you should try cutting your hair in layers it would really help and it will be more manageable

I have really thick curly hair as well! I had the same problem... and no matter how I got it cut... I'd still run out of ideas for styling.

Here's what I did this week:

Sunday: half ponytail

Monday: down and natural

Tuesday: pinned my bangs back and loosened my curls

Wednesday: a loose braid with my bangs down

Thursday: a loose bun with pieces hanging down

Tomorrow (Friday): French braiding my bangs and front pieces so it looks like a "headband"

I love headbands!!!! They make anyone's hair look cute!!!!
