Do the patch test to make sure that you are not allergic to the dye. You should also do the strand test they recommend so you can see what the out come of the colour will be and whether or not you'll like it.
Once those tests are done and you're ready to apply the colour, just make sure that you get it everywhere. Get someone to help you if needed.
