My mom's considering letting me temporarily dye my blonde hair black. I'm not doing my whole head, just the under part. Just wondering if someone's done it before and has some tips, or if there's anything I should know about, etc.

you need to first of all use vasaline to put around your hair line so you dont stain your skin.just keep the top of your hair clipped back tight so it dont fall in the hair color. its easy to color your hair to black so you shouldnt have any problem. good luck!

As a hairdresser, I would go to a salon and get it done. When you have blonde hair and you want to do something like color it black, it makes it pretty permanant. I would start by going with a medium-dark brown. It'll probably end up looking a lot darker in the end anyways, because you have blonde hair already. Here's a tip..don't go black underneath. I had a very close friend use home hair coloring to turn her blonde to black. It was fine for awhile, but when it started to grow out, it looked horrible if she tried to put her hair up. But, if you really must then have a professional do it for you.
