i have mid long dark brown hair...

i usually straiten it but im at school so it looks bad at the end of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im not goint to wear it into a tight pone coz that looks yuck on me... so those answers will not be accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next time you go to your hairdresser, ask for their advice on a cut or style to suit your hair type. Until then, try a half ponytail if that doesn't also look bad on you, or get a better quality straightener because if your hair is going bad by the end of the day, it doens't sound quite up to scratch! You could also try different hair products on your hair like heat protection in case damage to your hair is the problem.

Why not cut some long layers in it. This will give it nice movement and will take less styling. A good cut is key to great hair.

ok.. do you straighten it with a blowdryer or flat iron... if you straighten it with a flat iron, it lasts longer... it doesnt frizz either... you should invest in a CHI flat iron, its awesome and keeps your hair smooth and shiney for days! you can use an iron protectant and use biosilk silk therapy and it smoothes your hair, adds shine, and restore the silk proteins lost in your hair and it controls all the frizzies!.... or at least invest in a quality iron. And if you want to style it...... then put a braid in it or do pig tails, or even just do half up half down or do the "hump" on the top..and leave the rest out. good luck

If your hair is natural it will revert back from the humidity and dust thats in the air. You can relax you hair for some control or put a mild straightner or blow dry agent on it to give you control. Braids work well also because your scalp will be able to breathe while you wear them. You then can put your hair up in a braid style or wear cornrows.But if your hair's damage you may need a cut because splint ends can be mend temporary but a cut can end this problem all together. Use CHI silk infusion ( go to a hair dresser) or order it online, put it on after you straighten (small amount). Buy a very small but good brush to put in your bag. Comb it every so often. This stuff really works to keep it looking fresh and smells really good.
