OK, first never wash your hair everyday, it will only strip out the natural good oils from your hair. I use garner frutis 3 minutes conditioner. It works so well, you will be able to tell when you rise your hair. For your oily hair problem, you aren't using enough shampoo, don't go crazy, just a little bit more than what you are using. Put an anti-friss product in your hair (friss-eaze, or something at your salon.) Blow dry your hair with a round or straight bristle brush. (depends on the lenght of your hair, long = straight, short = round.) Your hair may not look that great after the blow dryer but that is what the straightener is for. Then use a ceramic straightening iron (found at your local salon, they really make a difference) at a low setting, you don't want to burn your hair. If you want you can buy a big curling iron to curl your ends.

well, i have the same hair except mines not very oily. all i do is wash it every day. I don't like wavy vm so i straighten mine

Only apply conditioner halfway down your hair. Your roots don't need conditioning. Use very gentle shampoo as often as you like. Incidently, there's no point in using shampoo on your hair, just your head, shampoo doesn't help the condition of your hair it's just for cleaning your scalp. Forgive me if you alredy know all this.

I have thick curly hair, and it is really hard to take care of. I straighten mine, or put curly products in it.

leave in conditioners,just wash(don't use alot of shampoo b/c more u use the more redo u get aka grease)infusium has the best conditioner and it's not expensive
