Hair straighning tips!!plz answer?

my hair is originally puffy and has like a wave to it. so every other morning i straightened my hair but my hair burns and i hate do u know any products that will prevent that?or at least help it?

buy some spray conditioner, thermasilk makes a really good product used in excatly the situation you're talking about. what you do is, you spray it all over your hair, then dry it, then spritz some on the lock your getting ready to straighten. I have poofy hair too, and also once a week i deep condition, i wash my hair, and then put tons of conditioner on it, and leave it on for like15 minutes. this helps with split ends and breakage. Pantene also sells a good conditioner spray, but thermasilk is specially made for heat damaged hair, and products to use while heat styling. or you could try a straigtner chemical relaxer. it smells really bad, and it takes 2 people to do it, but it works wonders for about 3 months. and is only 8 bucks at walmart. the brand name starts with an O but i dont remember what its called

Use a lower heat setting... and don't hold the iron in one spot. Move it quickly. Use a treatment before like thermasilk.

it is just burning all the oils from your hair that is what my straightner did to my hair... hope that helps!!!

I have the exact same problem! I use to products: thermasilk smooth and shine and sunsilk poof control. They are both leave in and they dont make your hair gross. Thermasilk also has a spray in heat protection product that should help u stop frying your hair.

you can buy more mosterizing shampoos and conditioners like dove and herbal essences

after that you can get leave in conditioners and strightening sprays

also consider buying a ceramic straightener

and never straighten your hair if its wet - tortures it

My hair is really thick and really full and what i did was use a really good shampoo and then use a hair dryer with the attachable teethcomb. Thats what i did now my hair is really straight! Hope this helps good luck!!
