red highlight are best I think but it really depends on if you want something really noticeable or subtle. Can't help on the makeup issue though sorry.

you should go for one to two shades lighter for highlights in your hair, and if you have brown eyes (im guessing you do because of your avatar) then proly what eyeshadows would be best is natural or earthy tones, maybe even a bronzie blue

Depends on how dark or light your skin is too, I think. I have medium brown hair as well and I find that blonde highlights, or lighter brown highlights, look the best.

NOT A BRIGHT BLONDE!!! it looks real cheap. you should have either blonde that kind of blends a bit with your hair color or a lighter brown would be hot!!!! also what color are ur eyes?

brown eyes:lavender,green,tans,light colors,darker purples

blue eyes:dark colors, blue eyes are amazingly beautiful!

green eyes:anything works, not green though=)

There is so much that comes into play with hair coloring and eye make up. I will tell you that my sister recently highlighted her hair just a shade lighter than her natural color. More highlights towards the front to bring more attention to her eyes.

Maybe I'm just a simple chick, but I prefer natural tones when it comes to make up. browns, greens, and creams.

When it's all said and done, you are the one that has to look at it everyday, so just do what you like. Also, try getting a friend to come over and you ladies have a makeover. That's always helpful. A true friend will tell you if your make up is scary looking!! haha.

if your a med brown i would go with a blonde and light brown mix of highlights. its looks really good for brunettes. and for eyeshadow i would go with a cream color.

or mabye go with a blue or red/pink. Like dye the tips of your hair purple or something like that, and you could wear pink eye shadow, to add some fun color. But thats only if its your style. I have bright red highlights, and i love it.

if you want to lighten it go for caramel hightlights (dont do blonde because that is too noticable)

or if you want to go darker i would get auburn or redish hightlights

your eyeshadow color depends on your skin tone and eye color too, not just hair color, but usually with brown hair natural colors look good, like gold, green, brown.
